The rationale is : if you carefully monitor your operation in decent and detail manner, you win the turst from your customer, especially when you choose to be in service industry; and if you equip the company with a madel or certificate, the endorsement will ultimately qualify you as the prestigues company to rely on.those are the backgroud why we approach BS7799 lincensee here to apply the security assessment and training for this certification; the risk assement related to personal information will be a giganic business in the near future, as too many digital information required we to log / regist / apply / fill , we are leaking those valuable informtion to the outside world, the good side is we may obtain relevent information in short and handy, the bad side is those information were treated in bad manner and produce / create crimes which we didn't experience before, to take the mobile phone flaud for example, how many criminal rely on this advantage and cause disarter to human.
The assessment is simple : to test what area / procedure / flow we operated may cause the leak of information and how we minimize the damage or how we manage to shorten the recovery time and cost. then produce a system to be consistanly follow and track. this is the nature of security training.
The more detain an decent steps and flow can minimize the cost of security leak, but will also create additional job and manpower to deal with the complicacy, there never be a perfect solution in one end. always to find a better solution and to favor the less costly one. eveything follow the same rule. no special.
Vennesa is the new hire from product marketing, I did the final round of interviwing with her. well. as she is a friend of our managers and I respect the relationship , so, I only shaking my hand welcoming her decison to join us. however, she brought her works / credit at the conference room, I can't escape from listening to her colouful event and career excitment, I obey the golden rule of " Listening create engaging ", and sit in the conference room for an hour, 40 minutes longer than I normal interviewing scheudle. she is an unique person, but I don't know how long she will stay with me - the same feeling as HR manager advise me, never mind, people like her will bringing new idea and new resource to us. I am expection to see the turbulence and welcome the interaction as well.
