First day at National Development Reserch Class ( this is my straight translation, there should be some more elegent naming ), I didn't expect too much, but with the day study, I graduately dive into the ambience it created, it wasn't how great the clasee design, how super the facaulty they invite, but the people they glue and mingles.It's hard to believe that a class gathering with 40 elites across the Acadamic / Admistrative / Enterprise / NGO, for a 6 weeks training together, living together and sharing together.
Opening ceremony is conducted at the auditorum, President Chen arrived by 10 am, have the photo sessions with us before deliver his opening speech, after him, Prime Minister Chang also give his speech, in the morning, we are sitting at the auditourm.
The good part begins after lunch, that's the time for self-introduction, as the facilitator didn't control the time , nor asked anyone to be the time keeper, so, you are easily became audience of some high ranking officers. however, some of them were so interesting, so amazing and so inspiring.
it is the first time I've encouter with so many elite from goverment, acrossing department, a lot to learn and a lot to think, this is the first night, wife is nice enough to bring me my cloths for exchange, she is not happy tonight, so we took a ride to Wulai, buying some preserved food, and then she drove me back to the hotle - where I am going to stay on Thursday and Friday night for 6 weeks. what an experience.
I should starting my life all over again, at least, keep the diet and do some exercise, TaiChi tomorrow morning is the first test to me. keep it up.
