direct in lower level can help you access to the real picture of your company operation, although trivial issues will make you think whether this is the function your are asked to perform as CEO, but if you change your mentality and treat it as the operation clinic, it will ultimately give you a new look to the company you are handling; I appreciate this opportunity to let me getting close to the diary operation and to gain familiarity with the company.
next week will be long week in Tokyo, FY 04 budget meeting is one of the most important meeting in the yearly calendar, during the period , you must prepare a compelling story to convince the people sitting in the arm chair that you are doing the right thing for the company and the good result shall arrive no matter how bad you did for the past year ( well, this is one scenarios ), or you should create a new story telling top management to deploy more resource to your operation; tans nation corporation always in the tag of war with figures / budget / ratio; as I can see, there's no so called " real time " figures as non of the business conduct real time transaction in the world, how you present the figures and explain it is a art or skill every CEO should equip.
I fixed the marketing meeting report this morning, need more time for the presentation file for next week, I do like to take a few hours break, revitalization is what I need now.
