I saw our DSL product manger smoking in the public area, there's small belcony in the back of our office where our chain smokers enjoy puff; the tiny little space can crowded with 6 persons, and that's the only area for our smoking employee; COO used to be a chain smoker when coming over to Taiwan, he smoke 2 packs per day, about one yera after join the company, he devlop a cough, very serious one, it last for about 1 month, then he decided to quit smoking, he made it; this product manager, I didn't see him smoking before, but surprisly, he is smoking alone at the belcony; I push the glass door and say hello to him, I asked him why he smokes ? smoke as stimulator or to get rid of the stress, well, he replied :both, as our battle with Dominate carrier is a long war, he is the person in the frontier negociate with the operational manager, it make him exhausted, I told him to put himself back and fight for the good fight, as he is an ISP veteran working in previos ISP who run the same battle before; the privious one took 9 years to build the groud we have right now, we only spend 2 months and devlop to a better position, we should not give up and should be more energetic in fighting back.
Barbie on board this morning, my EMBA classmate Jasper brough her to the office, she look just like a X size of my Fruit, J. send her to Canada when she was in second grade , since then, she become a Canadian, to me, I promised her father to put her on our intership program, well, there is no such a program, we are not mature enough to organized such a intership program, just to hand it over to markeing dept. and see how the manager utilize the additiona resource ( or trouble so to speak )
If writing thesis is as fun as posting blog, then the world will be more colorful, I am too laze to concentrate on this and need to escape from the environment I familiar, Thursday - no way to hide.
