The beautiful Jade
Yang mail a parcel to the office yesterday, when open it, that's a beautiful jade, my assistant didn't aware that there's a greeting card in the package and throw it to the garbage can, luckily enought, Yang sending a message and I pick it up from the trash Box. that's a beautiful jade and a well kept shell, she wrote the greeting card with some message : the jade is for my coming birthday, this is to my surprise, the first person sending me birthday gift; the shell is a GAME, a game of friendship, she keep the shell with her for 30 years, now I will be the second person to keep it for another 30 years, and I have to promise return it in 30 years. I LOVE the game, the game of extending physical and spirit life. for a person suffering from Cancer, I do admire her courage and good heart in design this game with me.J. came to see me checking the anniversaly campaign for EZfly, she is so sensitive and knew that there's a chance I may join them, well, I told her to keep it low and explain to her there's a chace but it won't be a easy way out. I didn't know what expectation people have in me.
Calling Professor Chuang for the survey intention and co-writing book idea, he is holding back to the survey project and he have some concern about some " Directive " influrence from the assigned entity, but for co-writting book with me, he had a possitive attitude, this is what I love to know, the book " The 12 lessons S. teach us , co-written with my professor " will be a very good example and may be a great branding development. " toward the end of our conversation, he subltly told me some crisis in his life, such as lost his father ( according to him , to live an age of 90 something and gone in peace is a great thing ), and the relationship with his wife , this is to my big surprise, as I knew Professor when he was single still, then married and become a father, this is the first time I can sense the crisis's there and it high up to consult with others, I made an appointment with him on Wednesday, I want to buy him a coffee somewhere.
Practicing how to 「Dancing the God of Fortune」last night, this is for the sake of performing on openning ceremory for Sidney's clinic, we promise to do it when having dinner 2 weeks ago, and I asked E. to hire one professional teaching us how to DANCE THE GOD OF FORTUNE, that's fun, putting on the custome and acting , learning the steps, we are going to do something new, which we never did before in life. what a great experience.
Today, formal Chairman will come to Taipei for board meeting, I've schedule time to go over my " Transition time table " with him. a big night for me.
A general talk with HR manager yesterday morning after the manager's meeting. she send me a regination mail on Sunday, there's are 2 things which I know trigger her to leave : one is working in a company which is not making profit, second is a Japanese Owned company. as for how the rappor / amicbal / hammony with colleage , supervisor, that's second issue to her. I did explained to her the rationale behind recuiting next Engireering Head over from HK, with higher cost in both management and expense. There's no so call Perfect Place in the world, I never expect such a place existance in working place, always the give and take....
