During the Huilang trip, I finish reading the book " 1421 -- the year Chinese discover the World ", this new findings and book bringing another debate in the history of who found South American, the author spend like 20 years finish this book and try tp prove Ching-Ho and his servant sailing all over the world in the Ming Dynasty and discover the new world 50 years before Columbus -- 1492 was the year he mark his name in the history. I read it so quickly because the tour guild is very interested in reading it, I promised her if I can finish it before the trip, she will get it from me, on the last day of the tour, she got it.
For the last few days, me and my wife saw a few good DVD, of course, these are my harvest from China, Washington Height is a very good one, independent film but with high quality of film spirit, it talked about the Cuban emarginated to New Jersey and fight for their American Dream, love, friendship, generation gap are the main bone to network the blood of the film. Ordinary sinner is a Gay movie but very dramatic,, FACE is a clear BBC film deal with the betray of friend, I enjoy them as usual.
Last Sunday, I brought the family to Taipei Astrology and Social Museum for I-Max film, as I were there in June / July, I though they may release new film, unfortunately, the 3 i-Max film remain unchanged, so, we choose " Wolves " to watch again, my wife told me when watching this film last time, we were falling asleep in the theater, so, I concentrate this time, but my wife she falling asleep again, after the film, Astrology volunteer explain to us the Autumn Sky Star, I learnt the Auteur 4 square, the tale of the Queen / King / Prince / Princess and Medusa, a plus to me, in addition, we bought a few book at the museum book shop, after the trip, we were supposed to take hot spring bath, as Fruit behavior very bad, so we return home immediately, I punish her by squeeze her chat and upper leg, I am so angry how she behave when hitting her little brother with umbrellas, I was lost control, when returning home, I feels very sorry and say apology to her, we hug and promise won't do it again, so we go out to eat the " Roster Chicken BBQ " in the mid-mountain near Wulai, me and me wife been there before, quite an interesting experience to the family.
COO was out of town for business on Monday, during the mangers' meeting , I told the manager how my feeling about the " year end party ", since no one in the company willing to perform at the party, so the farewell committee is considering inviting professional performer to the party, I don't agree with this approach, why employee acted so vivid when playing and even design and program top-notch event for colleague’s birthday / wedding / outing, why shy ( or hate ) to do it publicly for our employee, if arrange performances wasn't the prime purpose for year end party, if there's no one willing to perform, then, I am suggesting to have a party without any program, let's eat, drink, sharing and be happy.
I don't know why feeling so tire on Monday night, so, when back home having dinner, then I falling asleep on the coach, from 8 pm to 11 pm, my wife even can't wake me up. I am lucky that the speech for Rotary club is ready on Monday, otherwise, it will be a big trouble for me,
this is my first time join the Rotary meeting and deliver a speech, they meet regually every week -- this is quite time consumption, they eat and sing and donate and then listen to the speaker, it's interest to know the Rotary world.
Today, in the morning, I take a physical check up provided by the company ( health check ), Harvard health consultant clinic is the name of the company, I spend 2 hours there, when finish the examination, I take 10 minutes to change my Ping Pong Rack's surface, tonight, another fighting is waiting.
