I can sure the restaurant is picked by Director Chang, and he ordered all the crusine for everyone, I am late about 30 minutes, rush from the TVC post production studio, checking with the up-coming new films, all of our staff agree upon the second edition, but Creative Director hold different opinion with the film director, there's conflict going on, although we -- the client happy with the second version, this result can't satisfied the CD -- our proxy in controlling and monitoring the imagine and quality on behalf of client; I don't want to use this so called " artistic integrity " because image transmission is so objective, we -- the flesh guy witness the commercial the first time, leave great impression on the second version, this may easily traveling among all the target uses who see our AD on TV the first time. so , we insist on taking the second version, I left earlier and didn't stay to comfort the Creative Director.
Visiting Ministry of Transportation for unfair competition again, this is like a road show for me for the entire week ( isn't it strange to have Transportation Dept. take control of Telecom industry in Taiwan ), Vice Minister see us, surprise to us, he invited the second person in dominate carrier join our session, how can I using strong statement in front of the Giant but to express our concerns in appropriate manner, this is a cruel touching, I managed to complete my oral presentation in effective way, the result is good, at least, Vice Minister set a time line to double check the status and it worth the waiting for almost 3 years.
get back to the conversation session last night, as this gathering become routine, I shall and will be the host next time , this is a tough situation to select one restaurant for gourmet such as Director Chang, and another challenge is to find a place where we can talk / drink and eat until wee, the restaurant must have a understand ; Shu is so kind to bring 2 sets of Classic Movie DVD's for me and AJ, no one tell him to do this, but since I invite him for a lunch with AJ, he keep this in mind and bought it for both of us, a true and sincere person, when I share the joke about Holly, Joe and Jean with them, the return is Shu's " guess who's the wife of Stan? Understand..... " laugh full the house, mixed with food and some great minds. this is the Fabian society -- the update / Chinese version happen in Taiwan. it remind me another joke about English : what did Adam said one day prior to Christmas? It's Christmas, Eve. Director Chang planning to open TMSK in Sanfrancisco and make it a branch or chin restaurant for IPO, this topic bringing some conversation, it deal with how to identify qualify manager in the Status and how to solicited decent investor and doing a great management work, I share with they the 2 little book " Fish " and " QBQ ", I shall prepare it next time when meet, this is the best way to have them read it in a nicer approach.
Director Chang explained the competition edge for TMSK are : Interior Design, Table ware and stage, Shu insist that food should come first, and asking us to explore " Trend " before deciding what cuisine to provide -- he hated fusion which be abused for years and cause double for good food taster.
the conversation is between literature / music / movie / fine dinner / great mind, I enjoy it, again, this is another shower of spirit to me, keep it this way, and keep it going.
