Ukelele Reunion
Yesterday, after the 3 hours chating with C. I headed for the lunch appointment with Terry and David. together with Yen, this is the first line-up of Ukulele 15 years ago, time really fly, 15 years ago, 4 of us togering build up the best selling Duo in Taiwan, with luck and surprise, the album " Admiting " sold more than 1 millions copies in Taiwan alone, the successful stroy brought me in the multi-national record lebel, starting from there, my career and development as professonal manager begun. 10 years ago, the band broke up, Terry go his solo career, David return to his acdemic background and suffer from a bad marriage.
Sitting at the new Hunan restaurant 1010 at the Elite Bookshop, 4 of us chat, the reunion is good for everyone, although all of us have different goal in life, however, good old friend get togerther is a good thing. Ukulele is considering a return to the market concert, For David, the media impact is much important than financial return, as he wish to be the celebrity again, for Terry, maybe this is a good way to sustain his career in record industry, for Yen, a good chace to make some real incomr, for me ? I don't know, since all of them thinks this is a very good way for me to echo to the market, I am back in the entertainment with Ukulele - well, this is not my goal at all, if I take it as my next move and show it to the world,, then all my plan and hard working for CSR will be in vain, and furthermore, the 5 years of Hi-tech / Internet sector means nothing to me, I should not take it as a credit for me, must be careful
Meeting with wife and kids at Sogo and continue our mission to visit FaKu Shan, a wish I made before Chinese New Year, we miss the place a few days ago as it getting so dark in Jing Shang, but yesterday, we begin our trip earlier, on the way to Jing Shang, we see FaFu on the cross road where a big 7/11 store exist. parking at the temperory parking lot, we took 20 minutes walk to the mountian, this is the first time I saw the complete building of Faku San, this is a magnificant construction, do peace and consist of decent quality, to me, it's like a religious Sun Moon Lake - Lalu resort. we lighting the peace lantern and take the vegetarian dinner there, I always want to do it for so long, 5 years ago, I was taking the Zen 3 class there and follow the master Seng Yang. now I saw the building of peace and easy, I am really really happy. this is a great hideaway for me.
Before home, we went to Keelung for night market snack food, we ate too much at the crowded place, so, driving home, have a good moment with my wife.
Today, my day for preparing the mini Forum home appliacne, toruing all the Mishukoshi Dept. in Singyi district, buy a few thing, wife said non of them are qulified, anyway, I just buy it.
Call Hochen and AJ for personal greeting. I think friend should think of each other on the long weekend, friendship should not developed at working hours.
Eugenia dicided to join us earlier, a good new for us.
Host of my own
Retruning Taipei on Chinese New Year's day, we spend the new year eve at fancyword, the following day, taking the surface instead of highway, we managed to see much scene and to explore much experience on our way home.
Be the single host on Wednesday, as I received called from littler roger, EMBA classmate J. and R. Wu, 3 parties from different life encourtering. so, I simple put them together in a day and be the host of the family, wife purposely leave the house early, she drove me to the supermarket for buying fruit, then take kids for exercising. leaving me alone preparing the guest greeting staff.
I began setting the living room, take and move away the family staff and keep a sample house alike ambience, hide away thing which don't appear to look good and adding some flovor of quality house - such as glass container for fruit, incent for better smell, turn on the light for softing the mood , playing music as backgroud, then waiting for the guest to come.
lunch with little roger and his brother, we order the Pizza and sharing my start up idea - the CSR concept,. Yu's brother are smart enough to digest it and response with knowlege, they are turly idea partner in the future, although little roger is 15 years yonger than me.
the brother's leave by 2:30 pm, in 30 minutes, Jim broght his son Alan and wife to see me. this is a promise we made before New Year, to invite Alan to check my collection of music. so. we spend 2 and half hours listening to my music at dining room, the family are happy and my fruit was consume to its end.
take a break for preparing next round of guest, I cut and re-assemble the fruit and take a nap, yes, I am so exausted, Wu and his family arrived by 7:30 pm, they stayed until 9:30 pm, my wife didn't show up, they returned home by 10:30 pm , wife entered home with a big smile : Now you know how tired to be a house wife, preparing everything for you, now you learn the lesson between ordering and handling.
This is a good lesson, and I am happy that my wife can take it as a good education for me.

The Year of Wong Wong
This is the year of the Dog; the 12 animal for Chinese New Year; probabely The year of the dog is the difficult one for people to greeting each other with " Good Message ", so, I used Wong Wong as the key message sending to my friends and business associate, since this is my first year to run my own business, I should considering my client always.
Sending parent to India 2 days before Chinese New Year, the 12 days Royal trips making rest of the family members ( me, my wife and 2 kids ) the first Chinese New Year without preparing New Year Eve meals. wife married me for 18 years, this is the first year she don't have to worry about what to prepare for a big feast. I reserved a room with 4 beds for the family at FancyWorld Amusement Park and Resort. we planned to stay for the New Year Eve and ready for the should-be traffic jam.
Leaving home by 8:00 am, before unplug all the eletronic cable, we took the highway number 3 to Dao Lio, the traffic wasn't as bad as we see, we arrived by 1 pm. 2 hours ahead of the schedule, checked in and brought 2 kids to the amusement park, they enjoy the attraction so much last time, this is why I decided to reserve Fancyworld, the other reason is this is where I grow - Dao Lio. this time, Sound and Fruit didn't enjoy those attractions as much as before. but , we leave the park by 5:00 pm and go for the buffue dinner on 7th floor.
as Ku Kang is famous for its Taiwan Coffee these years. we want to tried our luck at New Years' Eve, so, drove up to Hwa Shag and check those geougous cafe'. we did find a great one and enjoy Taiwan Coffee after the dinner.
Following morning, brought Sound for the second round at the Amusemet Park, without Fruit, he seems enjoy some attraction more , tried 2 new attratction which he didn't experience the first day. we stayed until 11:30 am.
Checking out and visit ChuKwang Temple before leaving Fancy world, we saw the temple one night earlier and wish to see it following morning. this is a very unique temple, on Chinese New Year, they set up tents outside the temple and offeirng visitor / touries free vegetaria lunch. we enjoy the free lunch so much and take a glace at the temple, a decent and serious one. I feel peace when seeing the temple.
We decided not to take the highway home after the lunch, as we expected to see more Chinese New Year's flovor on our way home, so I suggested to our driver - my wife, to take the surface home, it took us 10 hours home, but there's no traffic, we visitor lot of places where we didn't see before, such as Jiji town, a very clean place with scenic attractions.
Stop at Chin Seui Rest Area on highway number 3 is our last stop. it's like a big market , full of people eating and shopping. we were among those crowd, it seems in Chinese New Year, people can only visit certain places.
From Chin Seui to home - less than 2 hours drive. the traffic is so smooth. and it is the end of my Chinese New Year.
