About Kevin Lin

I think all of YPOer who participate on the event today won't expect such a touching person. I feel bad about those who missed this great opportunity to learn. learning from a young talent, a leader to be to teach us, educate us in a profound way, in a proven story and in an compelling story telling.

I knew Kevin from newspaper and I miss the chance to encounter with him before the great project - Running through Sahara. my instinct of talent scouting forcing me to open the dialogue with him before the project, but we didn't build the channel, now we met, but I know it will be lot more complicate, as I will not be the first and only one to target him. however, the session this afternoon is an inspiring moment for me. I am regret not brought Sound with me. Kevin is THE role model to us.

Candy and Rose co-chair the event, they work hard, especially Candy, who block the entire Alexander Health Club and making it an Only for YPO event, the regular members must complained, I joke about Albert ( of course, he didn't know ), if he will chair next event, he maybe need to Bloc the " Heaven " for us as well - a YPO exclusive, well, this is hard, as he runs the most popular online game company in Taiwan, con-current player exceed thousand of thousand, how can you block a Cyber Space? I experience a little bit of the gym facility and attend 20 minutes of Hot Yoya, stretch out a bit, weighted 71 kg already, not a healthy sign.

The spot light shining on Kevin from the very beginning, he open the speech by sharing with us how he grows. and his commitment to field and track when graduate from junior high school, how he love the training and respect his coach, the story about : not only try your best, but to strive your life is a great inspiration to me. and the story about he didn't pass the university examination result to the disappointment of parent, how he conquer the quest by borrowing 50,000 NT from his running coach. he mentioned the day when he raised this question, the following day coach Pan gave him an envelop with 50,000 NT and a long letter, Kevin hold his humor, humor with tear, he said, most of the wording in the letter he could not understand, but the last paragraph he can digest, his coach said : Never ever tell coach's wife he got the fund. and the truth is coach borrow the money without telling his own wife.... a very very touching story.

Kevin keep his speech in short and in good expression, when rolling 2 video about the story of running through Sahara, I know most of our people were in tears. he had a great heart and great mind. A person who experience the most pain in the body can really leverage his word. carry a mission in mind and build his body and sould in one isn't easy.

Trying your potential , explore your limitation, this is what I need now, I should learn from him, Marathon is a test of body and spirit. same as being an entrepreneur, running and running. Matte Damon is the man who behind the Sahara project and shooting for the documentary, Matt impress by Kevin's performance and planning to recommend him to Harvard.

as a Taiwanese, we should not letting other taking credit from him , we should building a platform around him, really, he is a role model in our times. I admire him.

Ta Ya project go to a final stage of inking of contract, I wish to have the first contract in March. attend dinner with Chung chang Chu and Stan couple, provide a few gimmick in regard to " Branind NTSO ". Getting closer to Stan and to bridge his relationship should be great for me. preparing 3rd meeting with China Life Insurance.. sending first proposal to D. Du's foundation, presenting renew service scope for Synyi restate.. a very busy week.
