「Too much Howard Hughs in Howard Hughs」, the ego statement from his divoced wife consist a strong evidence of how Ego make and break the first half life of this person.
I am so into the Aviator - the movie talking about the epic life of Hughs and his epic dreams - pilot the fastest airplane on earth, be the richese person in earth... the movie touched me so much, during the airing time in the theater, I can't help myself thinking about my future, do not equip th eccentirc mind as Howard and the commitment action as he did, dose Success will swim to you ? I doubt, but do a person success and become the icon will be happy ? or simply become a talk about, an example , a story to be told ? if the must transperently showcase themself under the sun, do I want to be the person like them ? I raised the question to my wife after watching the movie, she reply with her wisdom : My Dear Roger, those who successed , only demostrate their commitment to what they do, they don't know whether they will become a story to tell in the very beginning; so I raised the second question to myself : Do I have a dream to pursue now? if losing the dream to catch upon, then there's no strong motimation or ambition to be success ? I asked my wife the same question, she replied : I don't have dreams since I was a kids, now I only wish not to be a human being in my next life , I told her this is not a dream, but a wish; I talked to myself and tried to rationalize the successfuly story before me, to become a head of an International Music Company, Chair the Industry Association and be the cheif judge panel now for the Golden Meloday Award, does all the credit earned make it a Success for me ? am I qualified to be success in some corner area ? if yes, then what's next, I must keep pursuing before my ambitious die out ? Maybe to be the Best Well Kwone, knowledgablt Consultant in the Chinese Society , wife said this goal is a tough task; well, no tough task will never make a dream, I feel much more release and falling to sleep.
Leonado is a great actor from my view point now, I don't like what he acted at Titanic, but Aviator proved that he is one of the great young actor, he deversed to win an Oscar; the story of Hughs is so controversial, the dramatic life and colover living make a great scrip for the movie, I am very interested to know the second half life of Huges, I shall buy one of his autobiografer some day.
Another finding during the movie is " Want to make it a compelling power to pursue; Must transform it to an obligation you force to perform " the two different attitude lead to varies outcome; want to make you happy, must drag you crazy.
Visiting little Tang yesterday, Sound want to get off the car and accompany me to pay visit to the thrine; when lighting the insent, I told him the story about little Tang, he is very sensitive and can feel the vibration I encounted, when get on the car, he asked : Will lillte Tang be my guardian angel and protecting me ? I send him a smile and say : No, he will only live happilly in Heaven? Sound asked anothe question : How am I so sure that he will be in Heaven instead of Hell ? I said : this is what we hope for, isn't it? Sound is so sweet.

We drove long Highway 1 and connected to the National free way no. 2 - the Pacific Ocean highway; expecting a very bad traffic, so the not-moving car and anxious drivers' abnormal / irregular driving behaviors didn't cause our trouble. I booked a room in I-lan for the sake of keeping a shelter for the family, we don't have a purpose to be somewhere or see anyone, so, the driving itself create fun already. I prepare more than 60 CD's in the car, this is my homework, I maximise the traffic time to do my Golden Meloday Award judge task. 12 hours back and forth on the road gave me great chance to review 1/3 of the albums, as the Chief commisioner for the panels, I must review all the enroll once at least.
we stop by Hai-Yuang sea food restaurant for a late lunch the first day, we had our lunch around 1:30 pm, the Super large crab become my wife's favorite, as she is our driver, the hard working one, so, on our way back, we revisited Hai-Yuang again and she order the crab once; on the road by 2:30 pm, the traffic hit us, we take 5 hours to I-lan, checking the hotel Fu-Shiang by 7:00, when conducting my registration, I help out one foreiger who have problem order the food for dinner, there's no English manu for instuctions, this is a unfriendly situation, even thought we -- the locals value I-Lan one of the best tourist county in Taiwan, the facility and accommodation lay block to foreigener, what a pity.
we have our dinner at the night market - the East Gate, it took 10 minutes from our hotel to the night market by foot, we ate a few , but not appreciate much of the local delicacy, only the pan-flied green oinon oil cake win our appetise. return to hotel by 10:00, kids watching TV - an animation drama until midnight. we had a good night.
I woke up the following day as usual, brought Fruit to the breakfast buffee, this is complimentary for the hotel guest, and the food court was amazing, my wife is happy to see so many vegetable duirng the Chinese New Year, we had our breakfast then heading for the one and only stop for this trip - The National Traditional Art Center, my wife have no idea what the art center is about, to be specific, the center should have another name with creativity - such as the traditional creativity and amusement park, the cluture and entertainment park, etc. acturally this is a great great park we ever see in Taiwan, you may spend the whole day here, watch, relax, eating and even playing with all the traditional craftwork in DIY workshops.
We were there 5 house , then heading to a port for late lunch again, Nan-Fan Aou fishman whaft is the destination we go, great sea food, visiting the Gold Ma-Thu temple for a while, we were happy home then, arrived by 9:30 pm, the traffice is much better than we anticipated. we had a great time for the Chinese New Year, it move away the cloud in my head, I almost forget to think hard about my future and the coming trip to Tokyo - the very possible career development answer waiting for me there.

I gained at least 2 kilogram for the past 2 days, there's no such a thing as fundementally change your Gene of fat. you have to control and commend; as my weights keep at 65 plus / minus 2 kilogram, I had a wrong assumption that no matter how I regain my eating habit, the fat won't coming back to me; I am totally wrong. Chinses New Year holidays give me a good lesson, I can't ignore my new year resolution -- to keep the same shape and be healthy all the time.

My family trip delayed for 3 hours due to Fruit's hesteria reaction, she can't keep the good habit and never bear one petient to wait for anyone in the family, we planned to depart by 8:30, she yelled at her mother again, it ruined all the mood for outing, then we quit the travelling plan, she became hesteria again, shouting and screaming as she was abused ferious by someone, we can't stand it no more, but to adopt the prinspal of " No beating , no Yelling and no Threatening ", we can only bear her emotional reaction toward what she is not happy with. the battle increase and the war last for 2 hours, Sound is quiet and didn't join the battle with us. we don't want to go, but finally, the truce came, and we decided to follow our plan.

wife drove our Lexus, we knew that the traffic will be bad during the Chinese New Year, we prepared for it, and I warned everyone in advance, so , the terrible traffic jam did not impact on our outing mood if we didn't count Fruit's emotion in the moring.

Today, the New Year Even of Chicken, we went out for picking out our meals, begin with the delicious chicken soup, then follow with the Chinese Herb Stewed Chicken, Seasame Shrimps is the last meal we brought back this afternoon.

I am going to see our call center agent who couldn't go home for their reunion New Year Eve dinner, this is the 4th years we've established the company, the second year we provide the 24 by 7 services and the first time I am planning to visit them after our family new year even dinner. I am not sure how many of them will be on duty, but I prepare 600 NT red envolop for those who show ups. my wife will drive me there after meal, this is the first night we going out after Chinese New Year.

I never gamble during Chinese New Year when growing up, I remember when I was still a high school student, I went for public gambling during New Year holidays, but I never did it when started working, although gambling on New Year Holidays is a tradition , but we didn't adapt this custom in our family.

It's 4 30 now, we should begin our new year eve dinner in another 90 minutes.

Having lunch with artist Pan yesterday, the pre-arrangement was done by Yan - my old time pal and partner in the self-employment period; the purpose for the lunch is to officially invited him to our YPO event - the Journey to the music; I have invited 4 artists to participate as VIP for the event; as a resource for the event and the co day chair, this is what I need to leverage, my backgroud and credit will bring the less costy performance for the event.

the other co-chair Mr. Kwang is a very picky person, his not-satisfied attitude mainly caused by his wife, who we thought ( include other YPOer ) were triple the picky than her husband; they will easily escalate the event complacity to your edge of endurance. this is my first time to chair the event, and my first exercise to leverage my relationship with artist after been depart from the music industry for 4 years; the contact were relavelatively smooth, currently Sky, Corbett, David were committe to the event without no charge.

Pan is at her fifties, but he looks much younger than his physical appearance; after semi-retire from the music industry, he moved to LA and doing gourvent business for 15 years, he return to the music business as singer again 2 years ago, we talked about the difference between China and Taiwan is the maket acceptance; if you had a hit in China - no matter how long you were gone from the market, you had your own ground still if you resume career there, it doesn't like in Taiwan, the cycle was foster and crude, if you are gone, you are gone forever, no matter what hit you bring to the market before, the fans / media / industry associate will forgive you entirely, until you create another hit, then, they will recall their memory and reconnected with you, just like nothing happen before; my assumption to this situations is : There's no eternal friend or enemy in the business ( or entertainment ) of music , Yan wish me to demostrate my sincere gratitude to this person, I did it, and I know I should save some per diem for Yan. I knew him well..........

Bought one round neck and one V neck sweat shirt for myself at Jil Sander shop - the New Year Gift for myself. then pick up the " Budda jump off the wall " meal from one local restaurant, this is for the New Year Even dinner. preparing New Year Eve dinner is a big thing in Chinese family, we want to make it simple this year, so, I decided to buy a few meal from the restaurant, at home, we only need to prepare vegetable, fish. the rest will be taking care by vendors.

Salad with toaste is one of my wife's seductive gourment in the family, we havn't taste it for a long time, she cooked if for us yesterday, I can't help to eat 3 portion , it give me the guilty feeling again, I need to keep the good balance of body. anyway, this is Chinese New Year; agian, the milky peanut nugges is the killer to me, my wife bought it at Shen keng - there are 2 peanut product shops at Sen Keng - 2 were claim their reputation for original peanut goods, they compete each other with one hero product - Peanut cookie with Rocky Suger; we tasted and tried both shop before, and favore the Chen's store, it become my favorate since, but the other store invented the Milky Peanut nugges, it outperform the Peanut Cookie, Kao Chin Shen produce the best tasted Peanut nugges I have ever taste before; innovation make the maket grow and it create new demand , redirect the competiton; from the day the Peanut nugges launched, our shopping bag with have both product from each store.

after the salad dinner, me and my wife went for the second round movie, I think the staff who check the ticket at the entrance of the theater familier with us already; we want to see " Alexzendor, the Great " , Collin Foral is a great actor, Oliver Stone is a great director, the corporation between them making this epic a profound story to reveal, a 3 hours long movie, detail illustrate the life of Alexzndor, his short life ( with only 33 years old ) and great accomplishment ( conquer India , become the first King of Asia ), the complexity of his emotion, love and political development, the line " You will be forgive, not be forgetten " were inspiring; the world is ready for you to take.... no ambitious mind will not create a hero. anothe line is " King was not born to , king is made to ", turely inspiring again. a man of great can be great in all form. I enjoy it very much.

we were home by midnight, clean the heavy bad pad to the gargage collection spot, sleep after one am. I asked my wife to make a new year wish, she said : she wish to be happy this year, as she don't have any clear goal before, I wish her to make any wish, it will destract her mind is the bothering familly issues.

I asked HR supervisor to announce an early leave yesterday by 4:00 pm, that's the last working day before Chinese New Years' holiday, I did it every year to deliver a good surprise to all the employee, acturally, after lunch, only a few employee will concentrate on office, their mind fly away to the long holiday. we had 8 days new year holiday this time. every one had their own play to spend the vacation.

the first holiday event we did were took the family to the missed Pixas animation " The incredialbe ", I love the movie so much and treat it as a 007 equivelent , no wonder all the Pixas animation were hits. after the movie, we go for the red-head duck hot pot, Fruit didn't like it, the subsitute plan for her is to find athe bakerery shop, unfortunately, the shop closed earlier than before, she wasn't happy and said a very rude slang to her mother, I am so sad, why our daugher dosen't apprecaite her parent ? although I read through the " Parent Effictiveness Training ", I can't help to send her penality, as I told her before, the panelty is to knock her knees in front of our ancient alter, I didn't forcer her to take the panelty too long, but told her to do it as her wish.........

this morning, wife go for swinning, I stayed home with kids, again, the confronation between Sound and Fruit occures , I tried to adapt the method from the book and seeking a 3rd solution to slove the conflict, thanks God, I managed to overcome this difficulity, I can really appreciate how my wife suffered when stayed with both of them.

Hosting a welcome back lunch for another Colleage classmate, as he requested, I invited another 8 classmate to join the lunch, the last person showed up was Mr. Huang, that's about time for us to call it an end. and he worked in Far Eastern Alirline, so I told him I am a buddy of the President, my wife pour over cold water on my head again and warned me not to be a " Big Mouth " anymore; I don't know, I just can't help to inform people who I am associated with, I am not leverage my networking to show off my power, but I knew it will somehow leave such an impression to others, I shall be more careful about it.

Bring family to another animation movie " Howard's moving castle ", a Japanese animatin film by the famous director - sorry, I don't know how to spell his name in English, we love his movie for a long time and didn't miss anyone of them, this is the latest one he directed, we were thrilled about the paining, the detail and the compelling touching story. I brought kids to the Japnese deep fried pork restaruant for dinner, we enjoyed so much, this is a rich meal I shouldn't take if I really want to keep in good shape, but, anyway, Chinese New Year, the window to relax yourself.

this is more like recorded my diary activity in a very routine and boring format; I should consider a better and consturctive way to express myself; such as My feeling about this Japanese animation, my experience in handling kids' difficulity.

I did swept the dressing room staff this morning, the house keeping thing is a must do before Chinese New Year, I clear rooms for the eyes - I can see through the clothes and feeling better about the neat and order; finding the " Living rule contract " which I print for Fruit, that's an over a year contract, I remembers at her 4th grade, Fruit didn't develop any health routine such as " Brush her tooth every morning " " Keep her room clear " " Be polite to the elder...." we make a list of 10 items to be contracted, maybe the commitment made without strictly implementation, I didn't monitor the status in a long period of time -- it is even shorter than 21 days, so, I don't see an impact on her, until I found the contract letter when cleaning the dressing room, I brougt one empty form to her room and told her : I can't be with her always, she can't stay with us forever, only to change from bottom of her heart, the difference will be clear to see '

On my way to lunch - The Sheep restaurnt, I called a taxi, it was a female driver, she seems lost her mind when picking my up. the we developed a conversaiton, she told me she was so anger about her daugher who just have a near-querral with her, she raise them up. keep both brother's home with them and ony take 6000 / month as an allowacne from them, she said to me, her daugher / sons changed a lot after getting marrey; the attitude of her daugher make her hardly to bear, she don't know why and seeking my opinion, I told her when the children grow up, you can't control them, according to some Economic Therory, to yelled and release temple with the relatives - especially your parent, the cost / risk is the minor, no matte how mad they are, in the end, they will forgive you, that's why kids always take advantage of the elder, then I know that one of her dauger teach in the University, raise a kid of 14 years old, stay with her and stew beef which she can't stand........... I reply with a very simple backgroud of me, such as raising the whole family, live with my parent also, and I draw the conclusion of" I am less fortunate then her daugher / sons "
