Base on the unfair competition, we prepare a throughout presentation for Governmental body, as President Chen urge the dominate telecom carrier reduce ADSL price which cause a headline in diary news, the pressure force them to announce a June tariff cut -- the direct benefit to end user indirectly increase our cost , and the unfair competition increase ever, this year, if we can't turn this situation around, all the ISP in Taiwan will be kicked out of the market.

President deliver favor to student for reducing the broadband fees is a good intention, but , to be very honesty, let's review what did our student enjoy from the broadband or internet
? download / swap content / application without paying any fees; stick on on-line gaming, killing time in chat room .... how many of them maximize the beauty of global information / education market and grow themselves to a better man ?

unfair competition is a hidden agenda, as a foreign investor, we can press strong complain to government, but if this extended Chen administrating carefully calculate the tax income thy received from the carrier -- roughly estimate 50 billions NT per year, the money they can exercise for next election, fulfill some promised they did on this Presidential elections, a few concerns may raised, so .... pros and cons, advantage and disadvantage.

Not in a good mood for couple of days, doesn't have a good reason, feel lazy and don't want to be energized, last Friday, having dinner with M. who came back from Hawaii and we spend a few hours together, wife warn me not to disclose too much information to him as I was hurt before , so, I conduct the conversation around the family and diary life instead of any decent business dialogue.

Saturday seems quiet, went for a local noodle shop for brunch and heading for ping pong session afterward, one of our ping pong team member depart for Shanghai on Saturday, the first " emigrate " working in Shanghai, Osking told me he will heading for China on Monday for 20 shows and traveling in China until end of May, so, from next week, there will be only 3 of us fighting each other.

J. host a dinner on Sat. night and invite a few Chang - Ze University friend join the dinner, it's a Tai Ta / Chan-Ta dinner, I arrived at the restaurant on hours earlier , so take the opportunity sitting on the MRT station exit located in Ding-Hao area, the fashion and trending place for teenager in Taipei, it's been too long for me to close observer the young generation; I remember what Nicolas Negroponte mentioned on his remarkable book " Being Digital " , i cited " There's no information gap, but generation gap ", to me, this golden rule apply to all kind of trend; I open my eyes looking at young kids walking in the Ding Hao area, they are different from the old fashioned, in the old day, young and fashion deals nothing but wearing designers customer, shows your brand / loge, but today, I found the young generation spend so much time to "design " themselves, successor, color, cloth, hair style, shoes, they assemble and making the piece of their own identity, spend time ( money perhaps ), this scene attract me very much.

Movie on Saturday night is terrible -- Jim Carey , I was fooled by this character, I though every drama he perform, shall have something to take back, unfortunately, this is an exception, I am so disappointed;

Sunday -- father and mother take a 10 days trip to China, a freedom to my wife, she is so happy, so, we have our lunch in Keelung -- the vendor in front of the temple is so delicious, after lunch, we took our chance to visit Chiufen-- a old mineral town turn to be a trendy nostalgia place, it's too crowed to visit, but we managed to find a parking lot and enjoy 2 hours of the trip.

Monday night was good, TPO held a dinner / speech, they invited Professor Bai told me the beauty of "Quin Drama " and introduce the ' Envoy Garden ' a late Ming Dynasty drama to all of us, met a few of TPO and get chance to be educated by professor Bai, what a honor. I took some memory and wish to keep it with me as another " Days when I am with YPO "
