The parent day event conducted excellent yesterday afternoon, we arrived by 2:30 pm, 30 minutes ahead of time, I urge my wife to sit in the car with me and have a distance observation of Sound, as he was playing in sand pot with other students, then we witness the quarrel and fighting, Sound wrestling with a boy in yellow shirt, pulling sand each other and the retaliation Sound put to the boy is heavier than what he receive from he, thanks God, we see it all happen in front of us, a live education to us, 30 minutes before the parent session.

the conclusion from Parent day are 3 : first, they want us to recognize that Sound have ADHD syndrome. Second, they want us to admit / accept what they believed, -- how to treat a kid with ADHD, third, they want us to prepare ourselves at home , and to follow the same instruction they did at school in order to adjust sounds behavior; we accepted it all as we are preparing to this possible outcome, I express our gratitude to the school and express how I look at their observation in a fair way; the promise we made yesterday is to keep in the same educational believe and to turn Sound to an improved tomorrow, principal Chu said, by grade 4, we will see how remarkable this kid is and how uniqueness Sound can be. We hope for the best and waiving good bye.

what inspired us more is when Chu advise us to follow the same fairness to Fruit, our daughter at home, we did it right away, taking her out of the mathematic institution and go for dinner and yoger together, equally share her goal and dreams and encourage her to follow the director of becoming a lawyer, at the same time, the communication and utmost are so warm, this is the first time me and my wife found Fruit had a planned future and saying something meaningful.

Breakfast with HC is nothing but normal, the only achievement is to ask him a favor about infrunsturcture support to Forest school where teacher hungry for the broad band service, as this fit the policy of narrow digital gap , he promise to review this situation and see how he can do. We talked something about the company and public issue, and he inviting my idea of how to build the momentum of Life documentary and to extend the impact , ultimately to help the land and the people; when I told him the reconstruction is in bad shape and we may need to re-do it , he is passive about it, maybe too long in the bureaus , he knows more than I can image.

Carly Firorian's speech is simply yet inspiring, I would like to make it one of CEO chat's subject and to share it with me colleague, as the lunch with A. I found he doesn't know Life is a corporation sponsors done by us, I should make it public, as least to let all our employee know we are doing good thing for Taiwan, do a corporate citizen should do.

Prparing the question list for the parent's day in the afternoon, I take the half day off and planning to bring my wife out, maybe to check Breeze Mall, Paul Smith return to Taipei, one of my favorite branding cloth, I would like to pay a visit to; since transfer myself from entertainment to telecom, the dressing expense drastically reduced, I seldome buy myself new cloths or designers' goods, maybe I am away from the lust and spot life, they are no longer a mask for me.

after paying visit to A. yesterday, on my way back to office, the radio program is talking about 「7 things man did will try woman crazy」, I didn't finish listening as we arrvied at office, but some of the point are so intereting such as : man is " Tunnel vision ", this is why all the men see buauty, they will automatically turn their head around to follow the beauty, for woman, they don't, so they think man are so horney; capture 3 of the things that drive woman crazy:
1. Didn't open the toilet cap after flushing.
2. Never want to ask the direction even getting lost ( a joke was told in the progarm than this is a genetic problem as millions of spuns swimming to the ovum, only one reach the goal, why? because the rest don't want to asked the direction...... )
3. insturction , they preper the result than the procedure ( man are born to be hunter )

Can't decided where to eat for dinner, want to try an excellent shabu shabu, but take time and money, maybe simply done it at the food court in Breeze.

Preparing my YPO introduction file, figure out the title " History of Me ", I like it, spending half day in the power point and rush to the Markey Memorial Hospital visit A. she looks fine, very talkative and with strong confidence in controlling the cancer, this is a bright side I guess, she told me this is an early stage of cancer tumer, she is lucky to find it and remove it immediately, she is a little bit afraid of chemotheropy which will start tomorrow; but relatively speaking, she looks much better than I expected; the rest staff would be how to settle her work and follow doctors' instruction for Chemo; I stayed there for an hour, A.'s mother stayed with her, her mother is a cancer patient also, according to her, the cancer cell transfer to bone already, but she looks very healthy; cancel with family history is really a sad thing.

Having coffee with our PR supervisor the first time since she joined us one and half month ago, a very straight woman, I don't mind young woman rush in deliver all the complain to me, what she said are turth, especially when she told me that she couldn't endure two thing, first : when people told her the traditional way to follow the practice ; second : told her she is new kid in town.

3 years annivesary press conference project were discussed in late afternoon, COO didn't agree with the theme and doubt about the narrow theme will only lead to a change shop's name result, I agreed with his thinking hard on this issue, we may postpone the press conference until we find the theme match the service and product we are going to launch now. I am too easy on passing the proposal, this is my fault.

receivign 10 PR tickets for George Lynch concert on Sunday, another guitar hero in town, I share the ticket with my ping pong mate, everyone is so happy.

The answer pop out last night in my dream, what H. Delivered to me is to help National defense Ministry and the Minister; why ? Because the 600 billions weapon procurement is a hot issue in Taiwan, they need an ideal communicator to liaison between Washington DC. Taipei , even China, and to balance all the voices coming from parties, legislators and people in Taiwan, as I am multi-lingual and had decent experience in handling international affairs, familiar with the Vice Minister of National Defence Dept, this is the why they cheery pick me........ Whoa, when I told this dream to my wife in the early morning, she laughter, then a theory came upon, will I be the second Yi-Ching-Feng who were murdered at a weapon procurement scandal, the case didn't finished yet, but every body know the scandal is up to the top top level, this is why prostitution system can't make this case solved. am I be the next target as 600 billion is a fat meat ? Should I get involved in intelligence bureau and living a life live secret agency ? When the more we develop the story, the dramatic result hit us, a funny dream again.

Receiving J. Hu's mail late last night, I am right about her intention, get sponsor and tried to leverage all the relationship she have on hand, no matter how distance they are; so, I give up the idea of sending her my resume, how funny, without communication, you hardly read someone's mind, everyone had his agenda, so do I.

came out with the title of my presentation to YPO next month : 「 His Story of me」I overlapped 2 S together in power point slide and make it a History , interesting Ha. as a courier sending toys to Forest School this morning, Sound call home for help on Monday and asked his mother prepare his toy in the gray plastic water vase, this is for Flee Market. The dogs in Forest scared me last time, especially " Flower Wheel ", when arrive at the school front door, no surprise, all the dogs welcome me at the gate, I called the teacher for help and have her deliver the toys to Sound.

Tomorrow is the parent's day, we have to be there in the afternoon and to sit in the classroom as well. Another challenge for me and dogs.

When COO told me A. Develop a cancer before I call it a day, my mood down to the bottom; not another colleague who helps me a lot get this bad fortune again; I feel so bad; he told me the surgery just been performed and she is now stay in the hospital; the same decease send J. To the terminal 2 years ago, J. Fighting with the cancer for more than 5 years, her husband told me how she suffer her terminal stage, I am so afraid that this terrible story happen to A. This time.

COO and I will pay a visit to the hospital without an appointment tomorrow, I can't be too sad when seeing her, but indeed I am; what can I do to help her overcome this life issue ? And what did the doctor said to her ?

if someone know his day is numbered, how can we help them ? Especially when they are close to us, I can feel how my father feels when he said all of his friend are pass away, this is a solitaire, a true loneliness,

I can't write more but to bless that the remove of the turner is successful and the cancer cell didn't spread out.

Lunch with J. Hu who used to my colleage and than developing her career as a sole agency for Samsung in Taiwan, then move her career to China and acting as a marketing consultant for a SOE ( State Own endeavors ), with an rare seen opportunity, her story been discovered by CCTV, they are planning a 2 years soap drama to be aired, the book about her wrote by her published in Taiwan already, she is now doing promotion in Taiwan.

Lunch is fine, what interested me is her way of generating resources and make it her own, to built a platform of her is a very network intensive job, we found our conversation didn't crossed as I don't exactly know what she want, to leverage my background or my current company to exercise on her coming drama, finding a partner in China or simply a old friend gathering. She looks a little bit nervous, she must be prepared but to nervous to deliver messages in order. I impressed about her endevous in generating and consolidating resources, maybe it's time for me to think what resource on hand and how to synergized them into a force.

I had 2 dreams last night, the first one came around 4 in the morning, I guess, I was kissing a woman, she turned her face away, but gentelly return with a light kiss in my chic, then I woke up for a long pee, well, kind of light wet dream, the second one came when retuning to my bed : this is kind of long and without logic, I was visiting some ancient heritage in a mountain, a guide brought me there and show me a big house with giant stone pillar, he said is place was occupied by one nobel family in ancient days, now it left only 2 stone pillar; then the scene change to : I am taking the family to visit a historical place, we will take a magic train, when the train open the door, you will saw laser light crossing between doors, you are flightened to be electricified, but the wave won't hurt you, this is a magic train, jump on the train, inside the cabinet, there are holes on the wall of the cabinet, the holes will inject varies lights and colourful smokes, when arriving to the destination, you have to slide yourself in a very slim, a " One " shape opened door, you sliding in and then you see the fancy amusement park, a canival like festival taking place; the scene then turn to we are in front of the sliding door, Ho called me on Sat. I think it was he, so I return his call, he said nothing peticular but to touch a little bit upon our breakfase on Sunday ( the real picture is we gonna see each other on Friday in the morning ), the message he deliverd is that he will provide an information for a great business opportunity which their company can't participate in the first place and he is asking us to take part in, COO said why not ? ( this is strange, how come he join our dream and interrupt to our conversation ? ), then I realized that he will introduce me to this perosn who run this big business....... then I woke up by Journey's " Faithfully " -- my wake up alarm music.

Dept. dinner at Lawry's - The Prime Ribs, a roast beef steak house in Core Mall, a very high ceiling and very elegent place, this is the first time we had our dept. meal for western food, they set a round table for us, 2 of us don't eat beef, well, beat it, I had the biggest one - the Lawry's Cut, lt's like 10 more onze, I finished them all, as I told myself this is the last meal I ate for rest of the month, can I make it , I don't know, met Da. at the restaurat accidentally, he bringing his lovely wife for dinner, the looks just like lovers, when traslate what I saw to my wife and told her, Da. is taking care of his wife very much, she asked me where I got this feeling, I replied with my obesrvation, they are talking like friend in intimacy, but with a distance, doesn't sound to me couple, we -- me and my wife are more like old couple, transpent to each other, no secret physically.

asked Si for the diet prescription, I will like to reduce my wieght for 10 kg. a goal to be achieved by end of Dec.

Coffee break with an engireer , thanks for his contribution on comment and idea; he is so nervous, I knew it take great courage for him to send me mail last week, for an employee sending comment to the highest ranking officer in the company wasn't easy, to buy him a coffee is for the gratitude and to take the opportunity to exchange his suggestion to our company.

one mangers send an resign letter by mail , I received it in the morning, she is taking the maturity leave in HK, we know it may happend due to set of reason, such as, no career developing room, difficulty in communicate with her direct report, having a baby, work overseas; each one will result to a resign, I havn't expected her resignation for a while and I am preparing to face it on her returning from long leave; some people in the company didn't agree with her way of leaving, no trasition in between and may putting our company explore to a system down. I don't realy how robust our system is, but the bomb is there, the scale up of the service operaiton, the more risk when facing system problems. what we are doing now is to minimize the company risk, keep the keep perosn in her team, finding a way to list down what we are worried about, and having her back for transition in homony way.

Having a 3 hours long mangers' meeting, we didn't sit in the conference room for this long for a while, this is a make up of last week, as we were out for strategic meeting, today, a lot of trivial operaion issues need to pick up; sales manager rasied up the issue of the current sales situaion, his point is all the marketing tool don't equip with a clear sales position, it's difficult for his man to drive the sales and get the deal close; we have different opinion about it, as sales tend to find more ealier way to close deal, price point is the simple way to get the result but at the same time, it hurts the bottom line the most; commercials doesn't serve single purspose of driving sales, otherwise, We don't need to build our brand name, we only need to provide the low price bloody image to all the customers. sales teams need an insturment on hand to help them conduct sales activity, we all understand, with the limited resource, We have to think how to utlize the resouce.

mid range project will present to Tokyo by COO next week, we are the only operation outside Japan under the current reporting line; the communication only remain single line for COO and the virture Head quarter, I am kind of a stranger to this new organization now, I don't mind, but the feeling of orphant wasn't pleasant, how can our performance meed the minimum quateria set by top management in Tokyo and how can our voice be heard ? to me, it is a transaction, I don't know how long it will take, but this is not healthy.

It's been a busy day on Sunday, take an early movie " Shark's " with family, went for Pizza Hut, another family lunch, accompany kids to the Blue Lake in Shien Dien for an hour, after they enjoy the games in the river side, we went home by 4:00 pm, my wife take Sound to review his mathematic CDRom bring back from Forest, the interactive game took them 2 hours, she prepare the dumping for the family, and we went for the second run movie again, this time " Cat woman " and " Garfield ", the theater put 2 cats movie in one screening, also the type of movie is different, but it sound matching.

reviewing Sound's parent communication notebook and find an insert from Forest, in order to build the " No beat kid nation ", they are now campaign in a big scale, fund raising dinner were scheduled on the 23rd with per ticket 10,000 NT, my wife asked if we should donate for it, I think for a while and told her we are not rich people, but to support this ideology in action, we follow the message they provoke and not to bean our children, this might be a better way then donation, actuarially, we didn't know how those money will be allocated. Until now, I am a little bit aware of the Forest is subsidiary of this her foundation, an educational innovation system to alter the current environment, Forest is an experimental school to follow these principal, the key person in the Forest also take part in the foundation's major role, they must be very busy.

Parent growth class will be opened next Wed, wife will attend, she is not happy about it, the class to her is a force of parent to listen and accept what the school preached, that's why she mad about me without a course late last night; when told her this is not an compulsory classes, she can take what she think have value to her and if she don't like it, simply pay the tuition and absent from classes she don't want to attend; we do it when we were student, we escape from class for a greater attraction outside; in Forest, they don't force the student sit still in the class, not to mention this graduation social education, you have every freedom to choice what you like.

Teacher Tseng came back, he called me in the afternoon and asked my current situation, the point is clear, he would like to see us every year, and to have our update , but not fees should be equally split otherwise the reunion will not last long; I told him the reunion this year will not be realized as the coordinator is hard to locate due to unknown reason, so, we take option for every person who's interest to meet him by Friday, we will do it every year when Teacher returned, no pressure, nature and easy. From the conversation, I can feel teacher's political stand point, well, after the Presidential Election, the land is tear apart, a misfit for Taiwan and the wound need time to seal, there's no quick remedy but time. God knows how many time in our hand to solve the problems we creates.

Went to the King Arthur the second time, this time for the second run theatrical release, I brought my wife to go with, again, a compelling story; the second visit give me a heart strobe again. Jerry Bugkinham is a good director, the score match perfected with the movie, it touch your heart and pump your emotion.

review a few pages of " 5 men in the heaven ", the second book I read front the author of " Tuesday with Morice " the first Eddie see in Heaven is Blue man, he can't get his voice back when arrived in the heaven, this is because, according to the blue man " they want you to pay attending first in heaven, so, they want you to listen first ", this is the same as old Chinese saying : why god give you 2 ears and only one mouth ? God want human to listen more then they say.

Finish the documentary I bought from PBS via Amazon : 1421 when Chinese discover American, this 2 hours films covered the story of Cheng Ho - the human who lead 7 epic voyage fleet , traveling almost the world in Ming dynasty, the first half of the documentary follow the trace of Cheng and cover the location heaven been visited, the PBS spending decent rescues to film it, and the relevant paper were burn down in mid-late Ming, that's 30 years after the epic journey of Cheng Ho, Ming went into a " Locked nationalism ", close it's door with foreign countries, this is the decline of modern China and the decay of it's technology advance. Professor Huang Ren Yu who wrote a few great book talking about the economic administration in Ming Dynasty also expressed his feeling about the stagnate Chinese in his biography " Yellow River, Blue Mountain ", his auto biography is a book need to careful reading. A minor history of Early Republic of China.

second part of the documentary film deal with the author who wrote the book and be titled as the name of the documentary " 1421 ", a revolutionary discover of who found American -- Columbia in 1492 or Chinese 70 years before him ? As there's no hard evidence to prove his hypothesis, the book reveal a few wild guessing that can't convince professor in the same field, the second part of the film take the author to a live journey of his Cheng Ho voyage and tried to capture evidence to support his theroy, as the show ended in open question, no confirm answer to his guess, but Cheng Ho become a hero to Chinese since the fever spread for 15 years.

PBS did a great job for this Chinese ancient legend, and spend decent money, we -- Chinese community do nothing but buying the broadcasting rights from them . Isn't it weird, as I saw a imported version, I don't even know if the film been license to PTV and broadcasting publicly or not.

Bring the family to " Shark killer " animation this morning, a dream works project after Sherk, I love the film, especially when the film deal with the ocean ego system to human eco system, the comparison is funny, I think Lenny - the vegetarian and drag shark is equivalent to gay community in human world, it's a fun and entertaining story.
