Good day with Good people
Feb. 8th marked a good day for meeting good people. Brother Wei show up 10:00 am sharp, calling from the front desk, I just ready for the first 2 days' luggage, I should do it everyday when travelling.
Take the elevator down and greeting with a smiling face, I know this going to be a great day for us, Wei asked if I mind walking to SONY MUSIC STUDIO, of course not, we walked to way to office, passing the Shabu Shabu restaurant , he knew the place, well, he is defenitely gourment in town, under the bridge, we check in one little wooden cafe' , I had my wake up coffee and he did his first smoke in the morning, we getting to know each other by the 30 minutes of " update ", it's quite useful, the chmestry flows. we identified ourselve parner for the future.
Met with his son in front of the studio , a young and gental guy working in his Tokyo office, Itoh-san is so nice to me, greeting for him in every detail manner, we tour all the studio, taking back all the sourviner CD's and testing his audio speaker system- a very hard to pronunce and remember brand name - Vaumort ? It's like a giganic playing ground, for spending money, killing time and watching people, this is a morden days of wasting life, but I did it yesterday, to buy a few things I need for acccomodationg the mini-Forum and for indugent my bad habit of spending money, it's been a while since I spending time and energy in such a thing.
Buying Tea serving set, quite nice actually, some of the staff were made of wood and iron. and I did enjoy a leg rest at Rojak - an organic Asian restaurant, although I didn't order the food, but do taste the Italian coffee they brew. a good ambience to think / read and writing.
Moring to Omedensen-do, I am expecting to check those small local design houses, however, it's all gone and the land convert to a so call Omedasen-do Hill - a Tokyo version of Beveley Hill, why all the luxury good and place must come up with a name for cheap corrlation? I am puzzleed.
Lunch with Itoh - 88 and Aki - 2 of my best friend in Japan, explained to they the reason of leaving Sony group and what I am doing now, present with the lichun profile, it seems thy buy this concept. On the way to Hill, Itoh told me that his retirment party will be held on Aug. 8, yes another 88, I will be here to attend and there's chance he will staring his own company and forming a JV with Sony Music, a good partnership for me.

My first business trip alone in Tokyo, taking the EVA Economy class the first time, the seat is comfortable, the movie selection is enough and the flying experience is better than my expectation, to live a life in simply way is not a problem, and should not be a problem now. landing by 1 pm Tokyo time, the captain on the plan memtioned that it's snow in Tokyo, I am exciting, I havn't see snow for very long time.
The temperature outside is zero, but I am not feeling any cold. take the JR express ( I like the LOGO they design - N'EX ) and trasfere to Tokyo Metro the Red line , Asked 3 stranger when get off the train how to walk to my hotel, yes, I managed to check in by 3 pm , without taking any taxi. this is a v ery local hotel, newly openned, good, although the room is compact ( tiny ) but I feel so comfortable, the checking dest staff hardly can speak English, this is quite OK with me, tried to familiar with the enviroment, memories how to access to place I knew before with public trasportation, taking Half-CHung line to Shubuya - Yes, the exit is connected with HMV, buying new CD of Bob Catley, quiet exciting too.
Finding 2 good local noodle shop, one in the isle of Shinjuku - Tenpuro Soba, the other just 2 block from my hotel, Port White soup Lamen, it opened until 4 am, a great place to hang out till wee.
It snows heavy last night, when walking out the Excele Cafe', snowing falling in my coat, I am so exciting, watching the snow outside the noodle shop, sipping the hot soup and enjoy the strangers' day in Tokyo.

Receiving mail from Ted. I smell the no-deal of NTU progress, when reading the letter send by NTU, I understand why Ted or Ezfly did't wish to carry this becoming redicious mission, I can handle this and I send an OK mail to Ted. if they really don't want to take up this assignment, the lost is NTU, I don't know why the government body performing task in such a bad manner and inefficiency.
The worst is : we will be short-off 900,000 NT of net profit, we have to make it up in the first 6 months.
An interesting afternoon with Shu
Shu really support me, he stayed up until early morning, but manage to arrive at New Hama by 12:30 , the restaurant where I book for introducing him to C. the person I mentioned can deliver more than 50% of LiChun, Tenkenyaki restaurant is good for chat and of couse eat, we spend more than 2 hours there, the chemistry between C. and Shu is relatively good. we talked a bit and I tried to paraphasing the conversation, C. can than throw out her idea of his own.
During the meal, he called Mr. Cheng and forwarded him the message that we can visit his tea house after the lunch, anothe great arrangement for us, it's a pity that Mr. Hochen can't join the session, he called by 3:40 pm, the time I know he measured to deliver the " Can't make it " answere, never mind, you can force anyone to glue on you plan. however, to be a great connector is the key to make LiChin works.

I am lucky to have a friend like him.
Night at the Red Duck Hot Pot with family, wife told me that she decided to be happy and decided to be herself from now on, reaching 40, spending 20 years with me, she finally find the way to express herself, I feel happy for her and encourge her to carry such a goal.
