What Mr. Han said
6 months in Himalaya, my entreprenureship begin with the shower of Mr. Han, he offer me and Lichn a warm place like home, a well decorated office with comfortable enviroment, without rental and adminstration fees, we were able to reduce the cost to only payroll and have time for choosing better customer. beyond the physical accomodation he provided. the most important impact during the past 6 months was the hornor to have lunch with him regularly, twice a week lunch gathering means a lot to me, without any hiding, Mr. Han share with me his life, his way of doing business, his lessona nd experience being an entrepurnour and from time to time, listen to me, reponse to me and encourge me the road ahead. to more I listen, the careful I listen, the more I learn.
This week is the significant week with him, Lunch on Monday, this is my first lunch with him after the 10 days leave to Portugal and Spain; when report him the status of Teleman and how the company built the social enterprise, he listened carefully and told me : the filtering machanism for Teleman Europe must be very powerful, when touch upon the adaptation to Taiwan, his concern is whethere this deployment sustainable? he asked me to use my rationale instead of emotion only, he said to me passion to do good is very good, however, there are so many good indeed, I must carefully pick what can be done with effective result. the advises from him and the prior warming from partner trigger me to press the break, call it a stop to this project. then Mr. Han advise me I am young still, should have a career , not only doing CSR, but to bulid my career, for the sake of my family and children, he have not objection to my dual career deveopment and willing to think about it from his view point as well. this touch me heart.
Second lunch took plac on Thursday, I reported to him the second invitation from Chairman Chen of TBS Group ( an integrated public broadcasting system ) to join the management team, this time, instead of CTS, but to one of my dream PTS, however, Mr. Han told me this is only a job, not a career to build, as this is about tiem to reveal Fon situation, he seems favor with this approach, but to let me know that leverage the power of internet and making money is so great ( the word between the line is : this is a very difficult task ), to build my career, I must carefully knowing what's the long term need from the community , society and customer, Long Term need is the keyword, he mentioned it again and again, share with me without money, the best product and best service will never be acquired, I finally realize why to pick finacial industry and why Money is the ultimate need from people nowaday and in the future. in addition, he informed me the idea of social banking - a machanism depolyed from the community and by the community, a complementary function to the current bank system, I am so surprise to know the very advance and updated treand were coming from a 76 years old man who never surf and browse the net, about one month ago, YK share with me this new trend and I was impressed by this new social movement and how it leverage the spirit and attitude of Web2.0, I asked how Mr.Han obtain this inforamtion and if anyone present such a proposal to him? the answer is no, and I know it immedeately, this is the first invitaiotn from Mr. Han to form an collobratlation with me, for such a long time, since he slove the tie of why I left Himalaya last time; the sharing is not ending there, then Mr. Han teach me how to be rich:

- Make fortune by investing, with the help of friends who you help before.

So-net gathering dinner was great, the restuant is interesting, my fist time there and arranged by previous colleage, Lawson were very frustration, Sabrian have a lot to say to me,so I will see them next Friday. Vincent will be be promoted to lead the art team in Yahoo, we are proud of being his colleage. Alice is too aggresive and I am afriend she will change her job again, Brian is so interesting, he encourged me to post my past 6 monthly travelling artile to the blog, a very good idea. Ejiri-san is as busy as before and we countiune our converstion on following day's lunch with Tom, the othe finding is they love the Wutai exzibitioan and the confusion of my position and luchun is so revelant, I can no longer doing it agian.

BMW 320i arrived last night, with double lucky number : 6119, we feel lucky, can't wait to see the black BMW, I accompany wife to pick it up and we cruise it unitl 11:00 pm, a 4 hours test drive to reduce the nervous of wife and to enjoy my first new car of my own. discuss with wife in the car that before 50, I have the luxury for using Mercedise Benz / Lexus and BMW, a great experience to count.

Spain and Portugal
finish my family trip to Portugal and Spain and return home on last Friday, this is by far the best relax journey I had and I really enjoy life in Portugal, L love the people, weather other, culture and the feeling, yes, as I had a gut feeling that the living standard in Portugal should be similar to Taiwan, this is what I'am found of, when the airplane touch down the land, after 24 hours of flying and transit, I immediately fall in love with the landscape of Portugal. the stops at Cascais, Belem, Lisbon, Oceanerio and every people I met in Portugal, stranger or business encounter, I love them, the only thing I said to Celine is : this should be my second home. The value and social culture in Portugal have me think hard, the Stanford Graduate Miguel launch his social enterprise Teleman, win the best ranking proposal among all the competition in EU, HOW They believe in digital life and conduct a paperless office in action, I feel shame about working in multi-national company fo so long and preach how efficient we work at office, this is far from what Teleman is doing in Portola, Hotel Cascais Mirage is a great resort to stay, this is only 30 minutes from downtown Lisbon, should be idea palce to stay whenever visiting Portugal.
Barcelona is so big, too big to be appreciated the trivial touch, too big to have the excitement of " I found it " the joy of discovery is hard to see in this Metropolitan, however, if you stay longer, such as for a week, you may reveal with different feeling.
Bringing my family with me to a non-English speaking countries is a great experience, to Sound, this might be th first overseas trip he can be memorized - this is only my imagination, anf for my wife, this is the trip by far she walked in city in daylight the most, she enjoy seeing the PENA CASTLE , the Lisbon Aquiline, THE gaudi buildings and the great scene along the Cascais beach. I am eay fit in the western food, Sound seems to be OK, wife have difficulty to enjoy food in Europe, however, asa vegetarian, if Fruit and VEGE found in market, her problem will be solved.
If you devided Spain by 4, will come to Portual, in population, in Land, this is fine, if it pointto the economic situation, the interpretation is not so friendly, Spain and Portugal have problem always, roots from 800 year ago, but develop to different language and culture. I love Portugal more than Spain. how can I sustain my attachment to the land? conducing any business to make it happen?
Fonv visit is a good one, althought AJ call me when I was line up for the famous Picasso Museum, the word he said , don't be too naive really hurt my feeling, but to conduct what a multi-national company and to grow any start up is what I am good at, to calm myself down and sit / listen to them, the believer in Fon impress me and I think this is the second career out of Lichu, and a way to balance my life.
The lunch with H. Han was so in depth, he advise me : my talent is greater than raise fund or getting sponserhsip, I should make my best effort in developing my career and to integrated them to CSR in good way, to have myself sustain is the way to make Lichun sustain, then the philantrophy will come one day;he have no objection aobut my double career idea and encourge me to find my way to grow , for the sake of my family, my lkid and to consider the rest of my life; I really appreciate his kindness and caring about me.
With all the good advise and warming, I should re-assemble my emotion toward doing good, not to let my emotion lead too much, and run into hard rocks, Teleman is not sustainable and I should not be blinded by the Miguel attraction, to help Dr. CHew is only thing, to make Lichn stand and sustain it much more critical at this moment of time. how to better slove my gesture ? I should be a good judge to my won decision.
