A Play

Inviting S. for dinner last night. this it to inform him my decision to leave current company; the invitation was triggerred by A. who came last week and ping point to my request to leave.

The dinner was a play, although the script wasn't perfect, but we tried to be nice to each other, I share the story of how I need to accompany with my elder father to China and consider my mid-life goal; S. gentelly appraise my contribution to the company and the value I may last longer than I expected, he mentioned to offer so call " Chief Advisor " to my current company or even extended the role to help the parent company bridge it's relationship with government body; cross-industry elite and he kind of test if this is too Early for me to consider being a consultant now.

I don't know how may percent of his word from month is from his heart, but I defenitely know this is a plan, a game, and we are main actors to this show; what cause me to think is, if the company constrained my time and energy more than current, there's no point to take the consultancy role; and his expression raise my interest about how " Chinese " and " Japanese " profile a so call Consultant , from the Japanese, a consultant is what you do after retire, which means, you are old enough to uitilize the redefusal value, you must be old enough to gain your second chance somewhere; for Chinese, a consultant is who will leverage his or her own relationship to bridge multiple entity or person to reach their business goal ; a kind of broker. this is why I am 100 favor with my wife's opinion about being a consultant - it is not a career for a man.

Luna - a good Italian restaurant, the Pizza is good. spending 3 hours in EZfly for the budget, the second round, channel heads are square and limited their mind in developing creative and innovative thinking, they are tramp in the travelling industy dirt and can't pull themselve over; when starting the meeting, they raise question one by one, I joked about entering an examnimation which I never expected, never mind; the bad things is - the organization design wasn't right and the leaving of CFO may bring some of the instabability for a while.

I am surprise and happy to receive K.'s return mail when sending her birthday greeting card - a routine I did for employee in our company, only a few showed their apprecaiton when receive it, K. send my a warm mail and it really make my day, this is why I enjoy working with others and this is the key motivator to push me do more for our employee. to be a role model from young generation, I am proud, no matter how long I am planning to stay.

EMBA vs KTV

Another EMBA class C. 2001 gatheirng in Holiday KTV, I am not sure why our class make it a rule to conduct our alumi reuninte every quarter at KTV ? maybe it will will create more fun and casual ambience. as it getting well all the time, it became a custome to our EMBA class gathering; on the occation, 30 up classmate will show up, we chat, eat, drink and sing. I don't drink and I didn't sing. but to chat and share is good enough; some of them becoming employee of their own. and some of them moving to other industry. I don't really get the point of the colleration between KTV and EMBA, but, it is obvisously to see, in a less-tention enviroment with the buffee survice, people can walk to anyone they wish to develop conversaion, not like sitting in Chinese round table, you can only handle persons next to you; I enjoy seeing people show their other side openly.

Sat. after lunch, I felt a little bit LOST, maybe this is the after digestion of confirmation, the gradually developed. or maybe when having the first budget session with EZfly, I realized that it won't be a easy one, a lot of them must breakthrough, the conversation with S. must go on until next venture, it there's no commitment in written, I can only " Help " instead of bringing the changes the company required to survive.

C. came to our house on Sunday, wife was out for exercise, this is not in a schedule planning, but it turn out good, as we may work very closly after Dec. 2 families knowing each other better, no skiptical in between will help. I share with C. my final destination and tour her to our little kingdom; she honestly advise me her idea about Kororo and how the company will drag us and pull down our quality and productivity, I thank her for her honest and respect her trust in me, I know how to handle Kororo's case and will bring the best result possible for all the shareholders.
