A very long meeting on Thursday morning, 10 plus executive crowded at Charles fancy office discussion how to finalize YPO Taipei Acdemy, which we entitled " Viva Formosa ", it's only 8 weeks away from the event, everything's no in place yet, the prior evening, I arrange Charles Hsu to meet with Shu Ko Ching, he is a little bit concerned about the administration development.

Thursday morning, the big meeting is OK, as the event program officer, I have to re-arrange some of the performance and make necessay connection as well.

Spare lunch with Ray - a new comer to YPO, to make myself more convenience, I choose a Japanese port chop restratnt next to my office and have a great lunch with him. learn more about him, his family and to introduce what csr Community is doing now.

Thursday afternoon, met with 2 person who are focus on mobile system - a value chain to what PMC deploying now, introduced by Rebecca and we had a mild converstaion at a humid conference room - I don't know why? the only impressive moment is when Randy show up the iPhone and exercise a few demo to us, well, quite an amazing gedget. should be well accepted by Taiwan.

Forward Music greeting is my first visit under the PMC role, Maggie is the first one introduced by Rebecca - an old time colleage to me, Alfe is the boss of Forward Music- pay my visit to him and had a chat, observe how Rebecca conduct her negociation conversation with Maggie, it seems she is inexperiecne to

I need to help her overcome this worst situation, otherwise, all the co-op may turn up to be nightmare.

Friday, another courtesy visit to WELLDONE - parent company to digi idea - mobile content provider, Charlie is familar to me also, as Rusty used to be his boss, so, it's a very small world, you can't ruin your reputaitn anytime any well.

The conversation with Soh-san on Tuesday morning make the dramatic difference, without opening the closet, theres' no turst in between, I wish to deliver and contribute with the mutual respect to each other.

Thanks for Celine / Yung Shin / Mafan's fully support, we strive the first working meeting with Stan Shih, even on Thursday evening, the group dinner with everyone, we spend decent time to solve the problem, I thinks we get 80 points by far.

it's call 'ECOLE, located in a ally next to Yun-Kang street, a cozy and cool cafe provide excellent ambience and great desert - especially saltly desert. I am here using their wireless internet to write up this article.

this morning, Yango visit to David, he prove to me a man carry words, willing to retian me to a Vice Chairman to one list company, and retian my YPO qualification.. then the CSR approch, a well round and prudent steps to enhace the reputation of Yango-- which Pirree established and turn to be a man of contriversail, David is try to proke what's right to Yango, and retain us as the accessment partner in check Yango's Social Imange / reputation. we spend 2 hours together and chat something under Forum protocal.. good to have him with me.

Visiting Vibo with Soh-san and exchange business card with Rock Shui -- the first time I learn his English man. Kang Beng did a relevely poor presentation, the worst sceniro is : Rock falling to sleep at the scene of presentation, Vibo is an interesting company, but I doubt how they mangage to run a 3G operation.

For prepreing ourselves to Stan's inquiry on Friday, we sit here at the good cafe and identify how to handle this, Celine is smart enought to invite 2 expert to help us solve our obligation.

One Day CEO , Day one CEO

After the mountain climbing, a commitment to keep my body working, take a shower, I rush to PCM office by 8:30 am, Eva happened to be in the office, before she take the day off, she return to me office and remind me to " Notify someone in the office " before leaving the office.... I feel so uncomfortable, not because of her kind reminder, but for the ambience this office create and how the employee here see the way Mr. Chuang runnning the company, everyone's manager - at it's limite at this office, and I am in the cage - like a wild animal been release for years now back to the small cage, no way to turn around and always feeling someone's watching.

Call home seeking my wife's advise, I told her I have to honestly disclose my uncomfortable feeling to Mr. Chuang and very possible to wrap up and leave today-- to avoid making bigger mistake in the near future.

Lower down to perform like a manager is fine, but to be watched as an employee is not what I can accept, even this is only a feeling, but I had to release myself from this uncomfortable ambience, otherwise, I will be sufficate by the dead air this office produced

Here is the procedure:
1. Ask him out for coffee - leave the office space which make no one's territory.
2. Fina a place for coffee - to a more comfortable enviroment
3. Deliver my message in a kind a subtle approach - hope he will understand
4. Set my prinspal - if he can't agree, then let's find other way to coorporate.

Being an independent thinker and doer for too long, it's too hard to return to the cage and be the loyal employee to anyone. I can change, but not in such a mood and enviroment.

Maybe this is the One Day CEO, and Day One CEO.

First Day at PMC

although we know this is current fully own operation by Soft Bank, but the nature of this company is to create bubble, for captial gain and to win the imagination from investors. so, the brand is imoprtant or not.

I check in the office by 8:30 am, didn't awered that there's a meeting on every Monday morning by 9:00 am, Eva - the office manager send a mail last weekend for reminding me this meeting, for a new on board executive -- no matter how small the company is, this unfriendly notificatin is not professional enough, check the basic personal information send by Eva, she get a big check for serving this company, but her performance to me, is much lower than any supervisor at my own company, so this is the culture, right?

Had a brief review session with Soh san - the Japanese Taiwanese who lead this operation with a banking experience, I don't have a crew why and how he will lead PMC, the current model and business is difficult to bring it to a break even status, my role in the company is blur still. should keep distance to this company

asked to join call with managers from now on, this is an obligation, i know, however the expection it too low, as most of the company we visit , I had the access to see the president, but to go with current PMC staff, I can only be the manger among them and to join meeting with the tier and rank of people they see.. to reduce my role in this and to gain pocket moeny from them, this check and balance is difficult for me, I need Alice to be the middle peroson , as least to create room for me. this is nothing to do with face value. but to keep the social and business status.

I don't know how long I will stay with them, the first company I worked with, without putting my passion, but to think What I want to be, instead of what I want to have.

spending 5 hours with Wenko, Du Shu Wu and Lulu for the future of Hwa Tao Yao.... again, involving in the family business is not what I should be.

This is the new Viao sitting on my new desk, just done the first day meeting with all the staff in PMC, a strange yet interesting experiece, manage to combine my phone-camera and blog , a great experience on line.

Missing for a week

Thanks for the tech, I can easily access to internet and leave my diary anywhere, and No thanks to tech, the clash of my Viao make me wondering for a week, not only losing almost all the scheudleing, but no way to leave my trace to Blog. now I have to recall my memory and try to capture what's been throught for the last 10 days.

Offically, I was on board to Pan Asia Media - the Soft Bank subsidery on Aug. 1st, the day after retuning from Beiing for the Alasan meeting. I can only be in the PCM office in the afternoon, let me recall what happened in the morning of Aug. 1. yes, for the site check , me Charles went to Ping Ling village - one of the famous home for Taiwanese Tea, and identify a great venue created by the licencee of Casina Furniture Taiwan. a great venue to perform multi art, but not an idea place to insert our YPO program, as Charles don't want to have the Bus to go back and forth in Sep. 21th, I love this hide away and consider to have one National Developmenet Fellowship evet there.

rolling back further, we were 4 days in Beijing - attending Alasan second Grand Meeting hold at Captial Building in Beijing, I suppose to represent Qung Chen Paper - in the name of Bengo, however, when checking in the venue, I found that Qung Chen didn't pay the due for the coming year, thus they are not qualify to vote or to be voted, it's kind of embarassing to me, as our company - csr Community didn't sign up for the coming membership, and neither od Qung Chen, I don't have a say in the meeting, thanks for Mark, who organized me to deliver a 15 minutes speech before the closing when the members elect the chairman of Alasan for next 2 years. little mark was elected as the Vice Chairman of the association, I am a little bit surprise, his wife - the Tibeten price singer Yung-Chi contribute a great deal when he make his election speech, she sang at the venue and he won the election, I don't mind. spending another 2 nights at Beijing, I am a little dysfuntion this time, a very strange city to me. I don't know how to live or work here, on the Monday 30th, we had a meeting with Wenke - the top 10 branding company in China in the Land Developing business, the office manager spend 1 and half hour with us, he had a doubt about Wong Sher's commitment to perform CSR, but finally, we were able to convince him to continue our conversation with a porposal in a week.

Sher Cung is dysfunctional as well, looking for bubble still but losing his identiy of artist and the prestiges role in the booming art market, I don't know how to extend my support to him, didn't catch up with Ben Chiang on Monday night, since there's a big thundere shower in Beijing, Capital Airport is in big coastic, we only talk over the phone, I didn't forget the advise from Mr. Chang, not to involved in the cross-strait political enviroment for the next 300 days. before the Presidential election next March.

Vist Jack and Mr. Bai - PY Kao in late Monday evening, we are delivering message of working together in China for the CSR consulting and reporting initatives, I strongerly sending our the message of don't screw up the trust base bulid by Mr. Han and Mr. Chang for the last 2 decades, take advantage and be the best consulting firm in Greater China. Mr. Bai and Jack invited us to the Shabu Shabu mutton pot, a nostagiz cure for Celine, but I am the person who ate the most.

on the way back to Taiwan, me and Celien had 8 hours together, to go over almost all the personal and professional manners, the luxury and quality time we had do prove that we are perfect in such a partnership...

Landing on time, catch up the premier of Disney Animation " Rastvillue " brought Sound with me and sit still for the opening, a great animation I ever had. we do enjoy this.

last week at the National Development Class, I am the representative to deliver the report in front of Vice Prime Minister, the punishment came due to my lack of discussion with rest of the members and missing for last week, but I had confidence for the 7 minutes, I preparea a simply be easy to understand Power Point - in spite of my our of function PC, and my 7 minutes made the best speeches among the 8 speakers, I can sense and awere of this great achievment when seeing members of my team waving their fist in the air and receiving lot of compliment afterward.

Finally, I receive the certificate and the following morning, I wake up by 6 am to conduct another site check to Taichung, thanks to Cheng Yi - classmate at NDC and found it on the scene - my alumi at Cheng Chen Junior Hight School, I am so excited to find him at Lu Ku Tea Center, yes, I am.

Watching Prison Break on DVD , bought it back from China,....
