The final confirmation of Golden Meloday Awards nominee took us less then an hour, we took a group photo with the newly on board Chief of GIO; less then half of the judge want to walk on the red carpet before the award ceremony on May 28; the list will be annouced late this afternoon, I am looking forward to varies of critiszn in the newspaper tomorrow.
Go to Jump boy with Sound and wife after work, I am pretty tired, since this is requested by wife, so I stimulate my spirit and went for this dramatic documentary, the director telling the story of his brother, a gymaist coach in Yilan who once was a gymist and now turn to be the coach, the story is associated among 7 young sportsman and the coach and how they win the national gymaist tournament; very touching.
Wife is not happy when we return home, she compained why she have to attend the soical event with the wives of YPOer, especially it became an obiliagation with Forum members' family, I have no object and tell her not to go, but she said there's no proper dress to go with, I response again with : you don't need to go, and she want to...... finally, we settle it in peace with a hug - initatie by me........ always.
Lost contact with C. for the week, I feel stranged, tried call her mobile duing the break of Golden Meloday award judge discussion ; the voice mail shows that the number is no longer in service, this keep me wondering for a while, she had the record of disappearing for long time, years and months, we were lucky to be reconnected and keep the each other posted for year, but it happend today, I am wondering why. send her a mail instead, hope she's alright, at least, by Sat. I will find out what's going on.
A very long GM panel meeting today, the meeting ended 2 hours longer then the scheduled, but this is good, every dicision made shall have a well round / in depth discussion; indie and mainstream have a big fight today, it's a 50 - 50 situation, tomorrow afternoon. GIO will announce the nominee and we will feel the presure coming over.
Before the discussion, I informed all the attendee the importance of nomination, I raised a question to 22 judges by simply asked : why almost all the important award, when nominee annonced, every candidate will say " to be nominee is indeed a recognition ", so I preach to all the judge to follow 3 prinspal : The width ( a market view point ), the depth ( the artistic view point ) and warmth ( the meida reactions ) and advise everyone is the nonimee list wan't satisfy all the related industry and entilty, we will be accused for 43 days, if we come out with a decent list, then even by the final judging day, when the winner annonce, we may only be challenged for a day. I am not sure how my wording influence people, but I honestly told them, I am here to influence you and have you to digest what I said.

strangely enought, by 10:30 am, another recuriting company called and seek my interested in running another media company ( then I discovered this is a cable TV ) as CEO... How come when singing the extending contract , all the opportunity come to alive?

Participating on the PTS multi-channel development meeting with othe commitee member and first tier mangers in PTS; My participation was request by Chairman and invited by the committe chief Professor Chuang. I did a few homework and come up with a presentation file. I enjoy what I digested.
The meeting telling me a turth that PTS may not be the governing party for future Public Media Gruoup, which mean CTS may not under the supervison of PTS and my future appointment will not be realized then; even everything go with the plan , the scheduled change board of director / management won't be exercised in another years; this finding gave me a different perspect about my future; I should then prepare my own agenda on top of the PTS career design.

H. called around 9 pm while we had a quarrel with Sound, he raised his temper again, ignoring others feeling and sensitive about any word his parent delivered; the eruptiion of his temper turned us to think more, if he can't change his character, we see the misfit forturne ahead of him, we feel pity about his character , but can do nothing, changing take place not but others' force, but come from one's self-dicovery. Forest shool provide him a shelter, we are not sure if torelence is the good way to accommodate his bad temper, if this is the only solution, once he gradulate from the school, how can he accept the world outside and how can he take more pressure toward him?
H. called because of my message before, J. told me the other day that H.- my old time colleage develope a cancer and been through a very touch kimotheraphy; I was shocked then, this is the 4th or 5th colleage who suffer from cancer; H. worked with me some 6 years ago, when COCO renew her artist contract with us, I promise her to set up label for her and to take care of her career, she was hot then, every accommodation we did were to please her and her family, the label EPIC - is , so to speak, a slaver department to satisified her dreams in artistic development and stardam dream. the label didn't grow well as we only focus on handling / pleasing one super artist, then he was replaced with disappointment....
