counting my business cards in front of her, I had five hats right now, The most complicate identity crisis in my career, maybe one more to come... the identiy problem is not an issue, what make me wonder is the complex in dealing with limited resources, time especially.

First and most valueable biz card come from csr Community - the company I founded with a great logo design and meaning -- yes, doing CSR consulatation, Developing Social Enterprise and provoke Social Enterprizurship... a very Social Enterprise approach but with a for profit goal.

Second come from Himalaya Foundation, they credit me with researcher title - the highest rank in the foundation, as a member of the family, they finally recognize me as a true believers in them, with this magic card, I successfully enrolled in the National Development Class and may extend the reputation of this foundation in a broader scale.

Third one come from Long Chen Paper - a list company and a good friend in YPO who provide me access to China -- with the Representative Officer for See project ( Alasan ) , they allow me to expense SEE related expense in China, according to my caculationm, it will up to 1 millions NT, this is a credit card with truth and friendship.

4th is the TWCSR - the assocaiton created by Celine to hlep interface with governmental body, for lobby and for grant the fund in developing new project. I am not sure if this is a good card, but a great design as it is pare with Vincent - who design the csr logo for us.

5th is General Manager in PanAsia Media Corporation - a Soft Bank invest company in Taiwan, a very blur and fuzzy company, I thought this is a bubble build up company, but I am fine and I learn how to live in dirty water now, to my surprise, I never get any excitement when received the biz card yesterday.

in the lounge, waiting for my flight to Beijing via HK, my priority card finally works, I over ate, not for any reason, since I can't resisits the seduction of bread - Taiwanese bread.

My Vioa broke up this morning, which make my presentation to Beijing unfinish, how to continue work this afternoon.... tonight.

Family trip Summer 2007 day 3

All you can eat breakfast at Ceaser Park, the best breakfast in southern Taiwan, we spend 2 houres eating before leaving hotel.

Today, we tried a lot of new location, where only car can bring us, the first time we drove our car to Kenting, we should enjoy seeing and exporeing new experience. taking they to Ho-Bee Lake in the morning, this it the best coral / sea fish preserver cove, we take one glass boat to explore the undersea world, in the glass boat - Kenting Number 6, we are the only family they accommodate, waht a luxury experience, boat sails out skirt and stop / cruise in the middle of the sea, the captian asked us to go down under and watch out of the glass, in the end, I am the only family member enjoy everything, as they got sea sick, don't have the lucky as I am, consider this, you are in Aqarium and see a huge sea fish exhization room, you will be shock by so many fishes in it, but at Ho-Bee, you are sorrunded by tone of differenct fishes and seeing the vivid an colorful life corals, this is a great experience, you don't get yourself wet by performing scubber diving, but to see through the glasses. the boat sails for 40 minutes, I asked the seasore guard an intersting question, how to make sure the people return from the sea is the same persone who sail out with the boat? the answer is can not, the only count the numbers, but not to identify people.

Taiwan Beef Noodle is a restaurant we saw so often, but didn't got chance to eat, this time, in our car , we made it the first time, it's an OK restaurant with a premium pricing, an experience not count. after the short break, we decided to go the different route, asked wife to follow road sign to She-Chung-Shi another hot spring location, we passing throught it and go further to Enovy - MuTan county, go further and further, we reach Shi-Hai, where we think only a few will visit, we stop at one great beach / shore full of beatuiful stones, this must be one of the beautiful beaches in Taiwan, then go southerern, different beach showcase in front of us, sand, coral, stones, amazingly appears, Shi-Hai is the great explore in our trip this time.

to take coast highway back to hotel, we stop at Galoshui - bought the entrace tickets and leave with disappoint, why need tickets? after the short visit, we drove the coast highway and arrived by 4:30 pm, take a shower, have another great buffee dinner, Kenting street venture and the good night.

Day of leaving, again, a 2 hours breakfast, follow the free drinks at lobby lounge, we leave by 11:30 am, in the early morning, taking Fruit to pick up shell, we don't find much at the beach, but I manager to catch 6 little crabs. watching an experiece fishman perform his expertise at the beach, with the web and his knowleage about sea, he capture lots of little fishes, I am not sure this capture inmature fish against the law or not, but to see him perform it , a very rare experience.

Taking Freeway Number 3 back to Taipei, less then 6 hours on the road, stop by 2 resting area - Kwangmui / Chinshui and arrvied home by 6:15 pm. wife drove quite well, and this is the end of our summer family trip.

Family trip Summer 2007 day 2

First night at Hau-An street, we encountered with an unpleasant situation, when the taxi stop by one crossroad, wife spot a noodle shop full of people, we thought this is one of the local treasue and follow the corwd to find our seat, wait for more than 20 minutes, the chef / owner ignoring our odrer, so we leave with an unhappy mood, even Tainan famous for its local snack, the service play vital role in tourist mind.

Strolling to one preserved fruit shop, the owner told us they been established 70 years ago, so, we bought a few for testing. our last stop is the Flesh Fish Soup respaurant, it taste so great.

Having a great free breakfast provided by Li-ting Hotel following morning, restaurant located on 3rd floor of the hotle , connected with a garden we walked in the independant house, more than 20 dished servers , plus the original Italian Coffee, we've mark this hotel a best choice to stay in Tainan.

Supplyment from day one, after leaving Chuanhwa, I decided to take highway number 17 instead of free way, this is for explore more scenic spots where we didn't go before, number 17 is a coast highway, along Changhaw / Yulin / Chayi are near sea breed sea farm, we experice what we don't see before, Wu-Sher port now developed to National Seashore Park, the hardwares are so amazing, fishman's wraft and lots of state of the art facility, it is not open to public yet, but so many locals visit the port and enjoy the hot summer evening, what kept me thinking is the software and people, the quality of living in such a relax mood is not ready yet, especially facing the economic downturn. Passing through numbers of port, then we access to Taina.

After the breakfast, we headed for Kenting, again, taking highway number 17 to Kaoshung, then connected to freeway which lead us to the beautiful beach highway, we stop by TungKang for lunch, Tung Kang is famouse for the Tuna Festival, we order one set of Tuna Sasimi and a flesh roast eel, from Tung Kang to Kenting, we only stop at Cha Tong for visiting one ancient house - the Shew's house, a house built 120 year ago, preserved quite well, it's a pity that it didn't open for public on Monday, we can only see it from outside, but I also found more old houses in Cha Tong, this old town should keep some of the historials.

Arrving Kenting by 3:30 pm, checking in Ceacer Park Hotle, this is the first time we return after the renovatiion, it turn to a post mordern feel, we like it, as I bought us the package online, it's a super value package, so we dicied to have dinner in the hotel before going out to the Kenting Street.

Monday night at Kenting Street full of tourist still, we havn't been to Kenting in summer, in the peak seasons, this is truly a tropical island - Hung Chung Paynisilla, young man and wamen, wearing as little as they can, tained to nature brown, happy smile in their face, I like the way they enjoy life.

Summer 2007 Family Trip

we plan this summer trip in the fashion of " Drove to Kenting -the thouthern point in Taiwan " and incorporate with kids free time, as Fruit will enter the Junior 3rd - the battle year for enterance examination, we thought of the life in hell, so, willing to provide a better trip for the family.

Wife is the only driver in the family, in order not to burn her out, I scheduled the stop over at Tainan before reaching our final destination - Kenting. this is a smart decison. now let me share where we went and how it goes on the last day of our trip.

Woke up early morning, we intent to drove in the morning to catch up some of the unknow scenerary in norther / central Taiwan, drove the highway number one at 7 am on Sunday morning, the traffic is great, we exit at Maili to Yumay - where we visit the first time an ancient suger factory established 100 years ago, now the factory turn to a tourist spot, however, without proper planning and management, this is not a great place to be, if not for what Su Ko Ching told, we will not stop over and check the thousand year old tree -- one of the spectacular in central Taiwan, the tree converted to a park now, a lot of locals spot the best postion, in the hot summer day, you can still enjoy the breeze under this giant tree, how amazing, we accientally found this is a place for local wine as well, next to the God Tree -- accoding to Taiwanese tradition, every ancient material must with a soul inside - a God spirit, so, next to the tree is a local Land God, what make it different from other temple - Tao temple especially, you don't donate, but to borrow your " Seed money " from it as long as the God agree ( by performing a local God service ceremoney, you worship and throwing 2 half-moon shape wooden peice, once it show up with one up side, one down side, it means the God agree with what you propose to him ), you may borrow 200 NT from the temple, if you use it and making fortune, you know how you will return the God's favor, right? pretty much interesting to know God plays Angel's role in the sub area in Yamay.

Return to hightway , we heading for Chang Haw, as I can't forget the loving Ah-Tien Stew Pork Rice, we manage to find the small local delicacy and feed my stomach for lunch, where we park is a very bad experience, but it didn't ruin our excitement in travelling.

Arriving Tainan by 4:30 pm, from the internet, I book one Li-ting hotel, I have not clue how it will be, surprisingly, this is a great hotel, 4 person in a room with only 2100 per night and providing 4 free breakfast ( the follow morning we were surprise again for the feast they prepared and the Italian Coffee maker for the great Cappucino ), they do provide Spa facility free also, take a shower, we decided to go out for dinner and to explore the night of Tainan, HaiAn street is where we go first, the long and amazing street full of little shop and tea drinks buitique shops, this is the first night of our trip.
