C. didn't receive my short message sent from Huilang on Thusday, she was at London and could not access to the message. my impluse of sending it wasn't successfully delivered. a coincedent; the impluse erose when riding the bicycle along the coast way, It seems like I am walking on the same path she's been before, my message demostrate how I manage to capture the scent she left at OLA Hotel. I told her in person when having the lunch at the Bread Restaurant.
we never find a time to close our dinner as we never knowing when to stop. too many to share, too many to reveal and too many to relief; she told me that she is a virgo - same birth sign as my beloved; I paraphased and probe with a " you were born in last Aug. or early Sep. ", she response with : " I was born on Sep. 3rd, - the soliders' day, you sent me a card on my birthday when I was 18 years old , you forget to remember it ", I was shocked, not by my ignoring of her birthday, but he memory of keeping the card I send 15 years ago.
our lunch ended with a " this is the fate bring us togerther somewhere, we are meant to do something together in life ", I am afraid if I pouring too much, once it over flowed, how to bring it back. I don't know, this is the combination of everything.
Music Festival is a renassiance to her - bringing back the natur or inner herself, Huilien alone gave me the same revitaliztion. she told me 16 years ago, how she tried to understand the spirit of " Woodstock " and she finally make it a few days ago. the owner of the bakery is a painter, she love the had C. wore, she bought it from London....

Monthly gathering meeting this morning, I present 2 private awards for employee who manage to get susbribers within June. we called it Member Get Member program, my assitant, E. she is such a great person, without delay or fail any of her duty, managed to get 22 new subs sign up with our servcice, I am impressed and touched. I gave her a sepcial award even she is not the winner of the champaign, I respect people who tried their best to show there talent -- I value they so much.
Went home earlier than usual, this is probabely my first night home in regular time - before 7 pm when I made the " Determination Decleartion " , it's been almost one month, I seldom go home having dinner with my family, I do it tonight, we ate at one local caffeteria and we enjoy the rare moment together. during the dinner, I read a few page of the book " Double Live " cited from Gide: " if you don't have the courage to serch the unseen seashore, you will never discover the new land " very inspiring and very turth.

Lunch with Rustin -- I joke his name to Rusty .... an old time pal while in Insititution for University entrace examination. he joined Mark's company 3 months ago, relocated to China , but resign and return to Taiwan join another company, the reunion created a new channel of mutual development of Side Media. I do hope it will pay off and it will lead the road to financial independace.
Meeting with E. for company establishment, appointment with E. for clearance of Kororo transition and doucment / charps hand over, everything was in smooth and I understand from July 1, we are response for the finance arrangement for the first company we invested.
Retreat Party at French Restaurant for Golden Meloday Awards Judges, the turn out is OK, 11 people attend it , but we had a good time, Nicolas treated my guest as the VIP and we secure the restaurant for the private function, the owner asked my to leave the business card and a few words at the guest book, well, I love to do it, this is what I remarked:

The assessment is simple : to test what area / procedure / flow we operated may cause the leak of information and how we minimize the damage or how we manage to shorten the recovery time and cost. then produce a system to be consistanly follow and track. this is the nature of security training.

Vennesa is the new hire from product marketing, I did the final round of interviwing with her. well. as she is a friend of our managers and I respect the relationship , so, I only shaking my hand welcoming her decison to join us. however, she brought her works / credit at the conference room, I can't escape from listening to her colouful event and career excitment, I obey the golden rule of " Listening create engaging ", and sit in the conference room for an hour, 40 minutes longer than I normal interviewing scheudle. she is an unique person, but I don't know how long she will stay with me - the same feeling as HR manager advise me, never mind, people like her will bringing new idea and new resource to us. Conducting my routine weekly review with J. he is sad about his current situation, to sum it up, he is not happy, the sad J. consider leaving, levaing it the way to relief from current mood, but leaving is not the best way to deal with situation now.I express how I feel about his situation, empathy , not sympothy. again, listing create engaging, I am not sure how I can change his mind. he is in misearable, a very bad mood. I can only share what I can, the most and asked him to endurance what he is been suffered for another 3 weeks.The steps I suggested for him:1. Find a good book in coming weekend, read it.2. A Long yet prosperary day
It rains in Hualien yesterday, the rain was heavy, I woke up as usual - the nightmare harras me for only a few minutes then I falling asleep like a baby, manage to get up by 7:30 am, I tried the complimentary breakfast provided by OLA hotel, it was nice, gounges with samll Taiwaness dishes, I am content and satisfied; choose the table next to the highway - where I can see both ocean and rains, the restaurant tables and chairs all done by the artist A-Ken, each one with unquie shape and outlook, you can spend an hour there check these wooden / metal peices.Leave a message to J. supposely he should be woke and on his way to airport, the message I send indicate where we gonna met, I pick one of the oldest local park-dumpling resaturant in downtown Haulien, why ? I love to try the local dilicacy if I capture the chance. finished half of another 100 songs. reply a few mails, checking out the OLA, taking some photos as memory, I went along to Yi-Shuang restaurant. it was crowded, I arrived by 11:00 am, the shops openned and the guest line up for the only dish they offer - the port dumpling. this is a 70 years old restaurant, the owner flamed a few old picture on the wall,late President Chiang Ching Kao and Prime Ministeor Sun Yung Shuang were packing the dumpling. fate yellow photos endosed the legend of this restaurant. it was nice. I enjoy it very much. J. and Fat cames by 11:40 am, they love it also.as the presentation file was modified by me, we have to rehearse it before presenting to Park View Hotel managment team, we headed for the Hotel and begin the preparation, this is why I extended my stay in Hualien , helping to put this meeting together and hopefully getting the business done.The strategy is : Fat doing the presentation, J. support his report and I will added a few point from time to time. the meeting begin at 2:00 pm, all the mangers above attending this grand scale meeting; as the file was done by me, Fat don't really got time to digest it, the presentation go as the word and nothing exciting, but until they present the works they did - flesh animation with good stroy and attractive music, we impressed everyone. but when turn to the page of budget, I can see from their eyes, they should be shocked by the budget we listed. it took a while when bringing them back for discussion. a lot of " Why " raised by the sales director -- my resoponse is positive, I reply with a " Why question means we are engaged in the corporation intention ", the diretor asked for " Free Trial Service ", I took the microphone and reply with " if K. is making cookies, there's no problem to sample it before a big order arrive, but the creative work is counted by man / hours, the opportunity cost is hight " they understand, and asked for a 1 hours break, we were escort to tour this hotle.I stayed in Park View some 10 years ago, however the experience left wans't happy, 2 of my family member contaiminate with some gems and cause the very bad belly / intense problem. so, I never have the intention to return to stay, but with the tour and guild, my impression change totally; the newly renovated rooms is simply but elegent, the view is excellent and the amenty are state of the art, I am lucky to learn more about the hotel and the people who work here, Erica is a good girl, she did a great job introduced us everything about the hotel. returning to the conference room, G. favor this corporation but wish to talk about the budget later, I am fine with this arragnement . as the next program is checking the house band - accoring to G. they are good performer. we still have 30 minutes window, Erica and Rebbca arrange the hotel car and escort us to 7 stars lagoon -- when arrvied , we were astonished by the scene we witness, such a beautiful ocean coast, we love this so much and wondered why it name 7 stars - local and with no imagination; to be honest with you, if anyone coming from Taipei will not visit it unless locals show them the way, as the name wasn't attracted any more.To correct this impression : the Kororo team have great idea, I supply one to them, changing the 7 stars lagoon with a new name with same Chinese Pronaciation -- The Heart Resting Coast , the fact is there's no lake or lagoon but a long and beautiful , purify beaches.Dinner at the buffee restaurant, G.'s wife - the actor came and join us, a very courtesy manner after the troblesome scandle . the band perfroming with mixed repertoire, it's so so, if we really want to place them in the animation, they may be the backing singer or duet with one of our disnated artisit.we took the last flight back to Taipei, Haulien Airport Station is so beautiful, this is the first I saw it since it up for running.Haulien - as they say : the sun will bite and the land is sticky -- when you arrive, you never want to leave.
OLA Hotel - A good surprise
I never thought of a room less than 2000 NT in peak season can enjoy such a tremendous experience; when check in the OLA hotel - located in coast highway on the opposite side of Huilien Harbor, I found it an interested place to stay, the hotle was almoste decorated by the local artsit A-Ken, a multi-material comtemporary artist who we saw lot of his work at Bellavista Hotels, but here in OLA, we see even more of his art pieces here.
I check in the room and begin my homwork - browisng and answering my mail; by 7:30 pm,I decided to go out for a walk before my favorite TV series - CSI; take the elevator down to the lobby floor, I asked the frond desk how to find place for dinner, she mentioned a few interest resturant , when I asked how to get there, she suggested me to take the hotle bicycle and ride along the coast to the restaurant. as this is one of the hotel's complimentary service ( well, you have to ride your own, get a little bit sweat ), I choice one bicycle and ride on my first bicycle ride in Huilien, amazingly, I found there are a few road block and polices were on duty at the entrance of each block, I asked one policeman if I may go inside the controlling area, he replied to me that this is block for tourist and bicycle rider, so this is a design for bicycle's heaven, I ride along the sea shore and saw big ships - must of commercial cargo, and the palm trees were decorated with colorful neon lights; it's so beautiful and I almost forget to watch the road, too many scenses refrain me from watching the traffice, Thanks God, this is a block and restricted area for tourist and bicycle riders, so I am safe when watching the sea and riding the bicycle.
Than I stop by Daddy Chung's Beef Noodle house, I supposed not to eat at night - I had too much food these days, but I can't help to discover one of the selected restaurant in the gorment's map, how can I miss this chance, who knows when I will be back to Huiliang ? so, beat it, I order one Soy source stewed Beef Noodle and one appitizer - the stew peanut. this is so great, I finished the last sip of the soup, I can't image such a great noodle soup in Huiline, after this, I decided to find the bean curb jelly shop - I found it and enjoy my desert after the noodle. riding back to hotel, I hardly can get by this rare experience in life, I must tell everyone I know - as she told me about this hotel, that everyone deserve to be here, enjoy the bicycle ride, find the noodle restaurant and embracne the see breeze under the sunshine, staring and gazing to the star above, Ce' la Vie --- This is life.
Huilien Ocean Park Trip
Two days Huilien Ocean Park trip ended by 1:30 pm today; as I want to carful in spending these days, so the trip arranged in a better economy way, but it doesn't mean we sacrifice to stay in a 5 star hotel or eating instant noodles, I just asked my assistant to survey the best possible package in the market, and we make a good deal in this trip.
Stayed in Bellavista Hotle is the best choice, we ordered the package : 3 sharing in one big room with 3 seperate beds, with the complimentary buffee dinner and breakfast the following morning ( inclusive ) and 3 complimentry entrance to Ocean Park, as the hotle owner runs the Ocean Park, the bundle sales for rooms and theme park make sense to everyone, Yes, this is Disdey Model; the saving comes from this package and the transportation - we take the trains this time. a very early departure time : 6:45 am in the morning , arrived by 9:40 am, check in the hotle by 10:20 am , the 4 of us heading for the Ocean Park - we managed to get the whole day there and follow all the major shows : The dolipine show; Sea lion shows ; Chrystal Castle Variety show and feeding the sea lines; apart from that, kids enjoy the attractions such as pirate boat, and all of us were amazed about the Aqullia the park presented.
Buffee dinner begin at 5:30 pm at he British Restaurant; we report to the checking deck on time, the manager seems not happy to see me line up at the gate and block the entrance, well, if we didn't perform this ugly manner, we may not able to secure the seats by 8:00 pm; it doesn't matter, be the first when eating is my philosophy in chostic situration, I don't mind people talk aobut it in my back. 4 of us enjoy the great meal with a full of content, as I take it as the extention of wedding anniversity ( it was on 25 th of June instead o 15th, so we managed to celebrate it at Tien Lan Tai Funan restaurant on Sat. night - that's the restaurtant where me and my wife had our after offical wedding ceremony - that's in the court and I invited Tom and William - 2 of my colleage classmate to be our witness there ), so I eat without control and having 4 desert after the meal, I havn't eat sweets ( exclude milk naught) for a very long time, I was indugenced on Sunday night.
Huilien is a nice place, long and beautiful coast line, sunny days and warm people, a dream place to be. Monday morning, Sound give up the right to return to the Park , so we had the breakfast and heading to railroad station. Wife and Kids were lucky to exchange the earlier train tickets, they leave by 1:30 pm and arrived home at 4:30 pm, I am stay over at OLA hotel preparing for the meeting with G. tomorrow.
OLA is an interesting hotel, with Broadband service free for guset and across the cost line, the front dest service lady told me at night, this is the most beautiful sea spot in Huilien, I can't wait to see it at night, the other lucky thing is, as OLA is not a rated hotel, so, they provide all kinds of free Cable TV, include AXN, as I am looking for a place to watch the ending episode of CSI : The ending episode is a 2 hours special and directed by Quatain Teriteno. how can I miss it, and I am not going to miss it.....
Buy lots of books Sat. at Eslite books, 「the seeker」 and 「Great essays in science」are the two books I am hungry to read first. deep but worth digested.
Beyou service was smooth on Sat. evening, I log in by 11:45 pm and can't access to it for more than 30 minutes, no matter how charming the service is, there is not browser will have the paitient to wait for such a long time, especially this is followed by a success press conference. another Muphy's Law.... see what happened.
