Check my earlier blog just now, and I am impressed by what I did before; I am not only writing down the diary routines, but to illustrate more inner feeling to the things I encounted with; I even notice the expression / wording I carried before were much sophicicate then what I did now.

when telling journalist what using English to post my blog is too enhance or improve my ability to continue think as an American, but if what I recorded here were simply English, then the purpose may not been served. from now no, instead of put out the detail of what I did, on top of that, I should comment on the thing I did or experienced.

Ai. from Tokyo send a mail to me mentioned to discuss my career on coming Sunday, I knew the reaction was caused by the conversaiton I did with COO 2 days ago, when told him if I didn't receive re-new contract from Head Quarter, there's a chance that they will breach the employment contract with me. the urgent arrangement had me smell the sensibility.

I am not sure what message they will deliver, if this is an extended service, I shall keep it until March then decided how to process it, if this is a China initative, then what I plan to do is to seek Wu-Shung's advise before response to the new venture. as we never reach giant step in United Hotel. the rumous was there, you will only break the deal instead of making deal in this Design Hotel, I decided to invite him to a Russian Restuarnt " Salt and Bread " for breakfast, the trier prove my ambition to complete a certain degree of uncertainty.

I have to reiterate the unpleasant appoinment with MTV HR head this morning, the more I think of it, the deeper I realize why MTV Asia is in trouble; if you recurited people like her and it become the culture or standard, you will never attract talent people to your firm, this is how I feeled now.

Interviewing with Ming Shang Pao is quite pleasant, we have a hours of chat, as she focus on me - the person instead of the company, I can eaisy told the jouralist my habit, the routine I developed, how I make the new technologe a way of life for me, not a burdon to me, how I see growing people is much more important then growthing the buisness. I also show her a few web-base activity I did, such as blog, which have recorded for 20 months in my personal history, I also demonstrate the introduction file I did for YPO, of course, I didn't mention which association I participate. the impression leave is positive I guess, I do hope what's been released is a plus to me, by the way, I also diclose the 100 Song publishing schedule, if the news being distributed, then I have to make it a reality, a great monitering scheme.

Lunch with Fred. Kong shang and Ryne for another YPO event, I devoted too much on this association, but, doesn't matter, they asked if I can be the presenter to showcase DSC and DV on their event, I have no problem to do it, this is a cross-forum experience for me. as I heard what they comment about our invitation, well, the effort is paid off.

Birthday party turn to a desert picking session, no one really care about the staff who's in the birth month, they are more interted in what the warefare committe prepared for the birthday party, I am not comfortable about this change, if your are born in the month, during the celebration party, no one really care about you, What will you think, I wish to alter it somehow, wait for next round of warefare committe election.

My debut ameture consulting job take off yesterday when visiting Federal Tire, a Forum pal's company, J. was out of time, when he told me he can't join the meeting last week, first I would like to cancel the appointment, then I thought why not seeing the company myself ? My decision was right, when receiving the home work from Little Roger, I modified a little bit and take it with me to Chung-Li -- where the company and factory located; on the High Way, it's very foggy, we drove for more than an hour there.

Sitting with me were 2 sales mangers ( for internation and domestic sales ), the entire promotion and markeing team lead by M. J.'s classmate in University; I did a 30 minutes of presentation entitled " Branding Tips ", what brought up is not branding, but the problems the managers see, I am happy to hear the voice from the mangers without J.'s appearance, from Product , Pricing to Cross-Dept. confrontation and how mangement see the company, we even done to whether low price is a stragegy for them ? if they don't have the cost benifit? how to regain their confidence , or simply telling everyone in Federal " we love our tire, and we use our tire ", I mentioned the Orcale ad to them, which is " We use what we sale, we Sale what we use "
when there's a problem, there's change for consultant to approach. I thinks this is a good area to attack.

A. met with me for lunch, this is the first meal we had since she lefe the hospital and complete her kimotherophy procecc, wearing a hat cover the entire head, I knew that she losing all the hair now, what I don't know is she is now realize that she will be living by herself for maybe rest of her life, and she used to comfort people, but now the ironic is she need a lot of comfort from friends.

waiving good bye at the resturant front door, I walked 20 yards and looking back at her, she is weeping ans wipe her tears. I feels so bad, me and my wife decided to do something for her and for us, establish a company to be runned by her is what I think now. if the consultant work pitch smoothly, I need talent to help me, she can be the idea candidate and I can take care of her physical situration with fully understanable mind.

Bring kid to the Bolly Rye's Adventure, Jim Carey is a star , we enjoy the film, Sound can sit entirly for the show without saying a word, he can hardly pick up all the wirtten Chinese, I am impressd, Fruit finally notice a hamony Family like and feel that she should change her attitude for -- well at least a while.

The MTV appointment is a great disappointment this morning, she is absoulutely disqualified to speak to me, no breakfast, keep me waiting, no presenting of business card, approach me with the positing which I declined before. totally waste my time. Elex should screening and filtering it more carefully.

The dinner at French restaurant was in a short notice; when knows the only time Director Chang and Miss Yang have is last night, I rush to decided the restaurant and asked the help from the owner - Jason and the chef - Zadic; they didn't disappointed anyone last night.

Danny help to select white wine - in 30 minutes , and then we started the dinner by 7:45, Tomato soups is good, followed with the seafood tar, vegetable jelly; fish and ox, then come up with Fruit Salad and Nopolean as the desert, it went perfectly, Matthew and Wendy were so happy about the meeting, they always want to see them, and I made their day last night.

Today , lunch with C. is good though, we touch upon the International Music Festival staff, the commitment level from the governmental body, the committe nature; the priority of this campaign and tones of ambiguilty in between. we decided to have another lunch before Chinese New Year, we do cherish the time and the quality it come out.

Met Chris Babeda at Starbucks, for my own convenience, he came, we havn't see each other for 5 years ? or even longer; when talking about his music - from production / producing / composing / aritist. then the idea of become his manager come out, strange but straight. we may do something together.

Deliver a speech at National Chia-Tung University in Shin-Shu, this is invited by the National Marketing Camp Union, a platform built between universities, my speech was scheduled from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm, the speech went well, and I think the mission completed succefully, as least, I keep most of the students awake druing the session.
Yes, My topic for the speech is " Think, Marketing, Think "

on my way back to Taipei, there's a little bit traffic in the super high way, we spend more than 90 minutes on the road, I am hosting dinner for Director Chang and Miss Yang - Owner of Liuliquifung at the French restaurat; my pet restaurt where I initative my releationship with the owner and the chef - Zerac. a very late notice to the restaurat, they plan a great dinner for us, I invited M. and Wed to join us, they always want to meet the Linglikufan, 7 of us spend the entire night together, from 7:30 pm to 11:30 pm, another fine dinning with them, Peter was there with Mrs. Chang,.

100 Songs - The book I plan to public this year is getting more solid; with a broader idea, I invited a few friend in different area to build a stronger base; Yu-wei, the singer song writer and paiter who agreed to put his art work in each and every articles; Jerry - Owner of number one flash animation firm agree to extrate a fews of the article and make it an animated drama for me; on top of that, I am thinking to have some music flavor ( original maybe ) for the book -- Jerry / Yu-wei are on that list.

the book itself is a reflection of what I learn and experience for the past 4 decade, a nontagia of 40 something, a conversation with oneself in a long halt; I am expection a publisher to make it a book, how to cook this idea is a key for this. A press party with my Forum member's appearance is what I am expected.

Dinner last night was great, the COO, CFO from Japan and me - Taiwanese get together for dinner every quarter keep for about 2 years, I've introduce a few traditional local restaurant to them, last night, my first visit to the legendary Hung Yi was a good surprise; I host the dinner and order the food by the recommendation of the owner - who speak very fluent Japanese and very hostipality; the garlic steam lobster , Miso soup and rice noodle mix with lobster source was so delicious; during the dinner, I learnt that Korea operation is in a mass, the earthquake of changing management bringing one of my associated Yoon to the top management table, a music veteran as I did before, speak very good Japanese and graduate from Harvard, he finally get what he want, what I heard from CFO was this is a power play and in kias.

Had a long conversation with wife before go to bad, tell her the 2 projects I am thinking of : turn Kororo to a public listed company, seeding the local musical " The age of Campus Folk ", this may be a turn around for everyone. I should acted as consultant and focus on these project.

Lunch with Co. a former PR / Branding supervisor as Mrs. Fei, I ate Tuna sandwith with whole wheat toast, eating half of the portion is my habit now, but when return home, I compensate myself too much , it will destroy my weithght controlling program, I am out of focus now.

Lunch is for her recommendation letter, I done it quiet a lot these years. I am not sure if I am qualified to be a referral for MBA to be, but as a head of multi-national company, I am fine with this task.

Reconnected with Chuan Yi this morning make me so happy, the wrong number I dial bring to his wife and we had a great chat, I remember when met him at Malaka last time ( 5 or 6 years ago ), he show me the demo of his new house, now they move in already; I am glad to be reconnected , I had an emoiton to book the air tickets and bring my family there. as a University classmate, I sort of save his life -- yes, when he was in trobule with a civil turn crimimal action, I was the only person who had time with him, comfort him and accompany him to the court for as many times as possibe, then the runaway project was my idea. well, the old time story won't bring any good memories to us, but this is how it happend and we are good friend as before.

Last night, had another 2 second run movie with wife - " Calling from the heart " is a very semtimental movie from Japan, wife almost caied out her tears, I am not so moved any more, maybe I treat is as a " Film " now, only the Europen film can touch me now, " Cellelure " is another great action movie, no major cast but with good story, it can build the fan base also, we enjoy these 2 movies.

Sunday Lunch - another EMBA professor / student association, the " Lucky Club " were students Professor Wu and Wu's networking, I pick the resturant for them " Le Venience " in Sang - Kang, I was there too early, have to sit in fornt of a senor classmate, he is so talkative and so easy to leverage his relationship with high ranking officer and how import he is to be part of the DPU ( Democratic Pacific Union ), I make the same mistake before and contiunely making is : to leverage yourself by association with people you think is supeiror than you; the ironic is : if you are one of them, you don't need to leverage them and you will be treated equally too, if you become the person be leverage with or be treated as the target, you are somehow achiveing certian degree of Fame and Fortune. the lesson to me is don't acted as the guy who sit in front of you and deliver every credit by word.

The cream / peanut naughy candy is too tasty, my wife bought a lot during my lunch, it killed my diet program again, I ate too much and ignoring my displine. after the last movie, we went for night maket for anothe round of supper, again, I didn't make my promise of keeping the right shape. I have to control again.
